As a casual gamer, the boss fights absolutely ruin this game for me. The rest of the game is fantastic, but the boss fights suck all the fun out of it.

Edit: after writing the review I went on to complete the whole game. I stand by my original review, the gameplay is great but the bosses are a chore.
