Even in 2025 this game holds up well. It is especially fun to play through the story with a few friends. There aren't many co-op story games anymore, so I cherish this one.

Great game, it is like a maritime version of Rust with aspects of Raft. You do a lot of underwater gathering so you could also compare it to subnautica, though there is no lore nor near as many creatures. Of course as an early access game it is rough around the edges, but it has so much potential and is worth playing in its current state. Once it is more polish I would love to see it as massively multiplayer, like Rust. It could very well rival it as it offers a lot, though Rust has grown so much in the past years that would be difficult.

Pretty fun game, feels like a top-down Terraria with aspects from Rimworld. There are underground bosses, aboveground base-raids, and lots of stuff to do.

The characters have unique play styles and good voice acting. The battles can be really intense once you get into high mmr matches. If you've been looking for a game similar to smash but on PC, this is the game.

I've played this game since early PS4 release and now on PC. The game is great, and singleplayer modding is a blast. Online was the best yet until the waves of mod menus came and you can't play without someone using one anymore.

In short, if you want to experience the story and open world of this game, buy it. But if you are looking to buy only to experience the online, wait for the next in the series.

I love this game so much and will never get bored. Nothing is like starting a new map and getting all of your mining and furnace lines. Up until a couple months ago I didn't know about blueprints so I just had to memorize my builds, so I don't even need to use blueprints xD
