More.
I've recently been inspired by others' profiles to include a bit more info about myself (looking at you, Becca).

I'm mid-twenties, and I'm currently working myself into the ground. I have spent a lot of time since the age of fifteen under the curse of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, despite having "many things going for me". As such, it is probably fitting that I like to make people laugh, because it's far more fun for everyone.
Prior to working, gaming was my release; my way of coping with the world. Work now seems to keep me occupied long enough to prevent time for depressive thoughts, which is good, but it's thoroughly exhausting. If you see me online and gaming, it's because I'm either relaxing after work or it's the weekend...
If you just see me online for hours, I'm probably watching something like Top Gear or some other TV show. I find Top Gear utterly ridiculous (and frustrating) at times, and I'm now done watching every episode. Completionist or something like that - binge watcher perhaps? My previous TV marathon was every single episode of House, MD. Took a few months!
I tend to only play multiplayer games with friends these days, or addictive single player RPGs.

Yes, I'm also an Aspie. This means I am cannon fodder for 90% of the internet, but wotevz.

My chosen field is sound engineering. I have always been able to pick apart music as I hear it, isolating specific instruments I want to hear. Note that this doesn't guarantee actual skill, and more often than not I feel like I'm stumbling blind through jobs and tasks involving uncertainty. Technical facts and details feel more concrete than me making something sound "good".

I work two jobs related to I.T. and one of those is directly related to Sound Engineering. I also volunteer one day a week at a local community radio station.

I used to do live sound regularly, but have stopped because the pay was rubbish, the equipment was rubbish, and I really wanted my weekends back.
Speaking of weekends, I also used to do a radio show featuring songs I liked and felt should've been more popular (catchy B-sides, rare tracks etc). I called the show "Off the Radar with The Red Baron", mainly because I have a reddish beard despite being blonde, and I drive a red car. Ask me if you'd like a link to the collection of 17 podcastable episodes!

I can only be social to an extent. I don't really like going out places unless I have a specific task in mind like seeing a band I like perform, and even then that isn't always enough of a motivator.

I feel sometimes that life begins as a tiny list of tasks and the list keeps growing, with less and less of that list being completed.

If you're reading this, chances are you're doing a casual stalk or are genuinely interested in reading. Whatever the case, thanks for reading this far (and feel free to chat to me if you wish). If you suffer from depression or anxiety like so many of us, there are people out there who can help. They can't make it go away, but they can help you manage it. I would be unbelievably sad knowing that someone who could get help didn't, especially if I knew them personally (although I do get strangely sad about some things people do even if I don't know them).

Seriously though, if I'm online and you'd like to chat about something, go for it! I want to reach out and talk to people, but I'm quite bad at being the initiator of dialogue, so I'm afraid it's up to you guys for the most part :(
