Apparently you CAN remap your controls. But guess what? You have to play through the game a bit before the characters will how you how to do it! 99.9999% of all games have key remapping in the options before you even start a new game. They don't require you to play 10 minutes into the game to REMAP YOUR CONTROLS. That's absolutely ridiculous to expect anyone to "ask" about remapping controls. It's there or it isn't. It's enough to make a decision right off the bat that this is not going to be a good user experience. It's VERY STRANGE to add keyboard remapping as a gameplay element. Who does that? It's an IMMEDIATE red flag that the developer doesn't even care about how their user experience in the game and you should fully expect the game to have all sorts of annoyances like this further into the game.
