Game is good. I have below the minimum specs and I can still run it just fine, never crashed and never had any issues. Don't know what everyone is complaining about.

I was really really interested in this game and it seems like it could be a lot of fun but I literally can't play it. There's pretty much no one ever playing it and it's online only so the entire game is just lost behind that barrier.

Based on the section of the game I've played so far (I just returned to the station after the first outing) , I'm definitely enjoying the game. It isn't nearly as polished as something like Alyx, but I feel like that's a really high bar to reach. The game falls flat on some of the more polish elements of VR, like how the guns feel a little weird to operate and the body inventory is a little odd (The average person is going to reach for their gun with the right hand and heal with the left hand, but the reload makes you reload the heal with your left hand). Overall though, what it gets right is really good. The atmosphere is great and the little details are very appreciated, like wiping off your gas mask and manually flicking the breaker switches on (my favorite). I haven't finished the game yet so I may update this in order to cover a few of the things that I'm hoping for, such as the bullet economy system from the previous games.

What I can say I'm hoping for the devs to change upon release are primarily options for movement. I don't want to have the button crouching to be always on, as well as i would like to climb down ladders manually. My preference for VR is to have as much movement as possible be physical in the real world. Obviously, this should be an option for people who do want more simplified movement, but not mandatory. Additionally, an option to toggle the virtual stock would be appreciated, as well as an option to change the two handed pistol grip from the secondary hand on the bottom to having it on the side. Finally, this is a bit of a longshot, but a toggle for a simulated body would be really cool.

Overall, I think this game is worth playing. People seem to just have FAR too high of expectations from it. If you were to jump straight from Alyx as your first and only VR game to this, then of course it's going to be a disappointment. For me, however, having played many many low effort AAA VR cashgrabs, this is a "real" VR game. Especially if you're a fan of Metro, check it out.

winning an idle game really needs to be more common. this game is good enough to ruin your life if you never stopped.
