The Finals is bursting with potential. I've never had more fun playing an FPS game, let alone a free-to-play game. Most of the complaints I've seen people vocalize are to do with the game balance, which has improved drastically in the few short months since the game's launch.

The devs have shown that they are listening to the community and are working hard to make the game better for the players. Even the cosmetics are fantastic. There is a ton of variety and plenty of free stuff for players to grind for. Monetization in general is very consumer-friendly, which is a breath of fresh air in an industry full of gacha boxes and $90 Valorant skin bundles.
