Don't let the negative reviews scare you away. The game is amazing. It's a different kind of difficult from the Dark Souls lineage, but it's still that FromSoft design you might be wanting. If you're struggling with a boss, re-think your build. You can change it any time. You can sell parts for the price you bought them and use that to get other parts. Grinding is also a valid choice if you're willing to take your time with the game. This isn't about building raw power and applying it against a problem with skill. This is about building a solution to the problem a boss produces, and then using skill to appropriately apply that solution. For example: If Plasma weapons are pissing you off, chances are they're just as effective against the boss as they are you. Balteus a less difficult problem when your solution involves a heap of Plasma too. Just keep trying, keep learning, and keep growing as a Pilot.

It's pretty incomplete right now with only one Car to work on, but there's at least a few variations of it and there's plenty to do on it. It's a bit of an acquired taste with how everything works, and the whole thing feels like Car Surgery (complete with Brake Fluid Transfusions) but it's pretty good. More comfortable on Desktop, more immersive in VR. For the sake of your Neck and Skull, I recommend playing this on Desktop (but VR is still well worth a try). Maybe in a few years it'll become more Car Mechanic Simulator than Car Mechanic Simulator. It just needs to be a complete game with more than a few variations of one Car to work on.

It's a good way to learn how to problem solve in Programming. Fun, too.

YES. YES. SO MUCH YES! It's not perfect, but it's amazing!!! The planets are beautiful, the momentum was exhilarating, I wished I could be there to take a photo of the sights a few times! The storytelling is excellent for how minimal it is, but that minimal storytelling works great with how the game works! If you're interested in the story, it's there! If not, you'll still have a lot of fun!

It's probably the mechanically superior game out of all the Arkham games, as you'd expect with advancements to technology and ever more experienced developers. There's a tiny TINY bit of jank in some places, but otherwise you're in for a ride. If you're worried about about the Riddler challengers, the tricks is to keep a guide handy and to keep interrogating those informants. You'll have less searching and more solving that way. Once you start getting locations for structures you've almost gotten all the information available. Finding and interrogating informants becomes much easier while you're grinding the side missions. After that, it's about finding the solution and executing it. Most of the time, it's about picking the right tool for the puzzle but a guide will tell you what to use and how to use it anyway if you get stuck.

It takes time to get into. The game is large and deep. At first it'll have so much to offer you! After a while things get pretty familiar and you get into a good rhythm. You acquire a Ship you get very familiar and even happy with. With your perfect ship, you set out to see what you want to see and do what you want to do. There is a LOT so see in the Galaxy, but it can take hundreds of hours to get there and back. The systems are deep as the ocean, and the Galaxy is deeper. Though after a while what you can do in the galaxy, except for going out to see Black Holes and the occasional Alien like a galactic tourist, starts to feel kind of shallow. Even exploring planets (a feature in the Horizons Pass/DLC) starts to feel boring. The game needs more to do, and updates are incredibly slow. Still, despite this nagging issue, the game's pretty nice to play. The Ships handle wonderfully and the game is amazing to see and hear. You can customize and upgrade your ship to almost the smallest detail. You can make it your own.
