You can play the original Doom (1993) within this game.

Now that's some serious backwards compatibility right there.

I love this game so much / I hate this game it sucks

But I love it tho

My newly formed colony was being attacked by The Red Cliff Bandits, a group of 8 people with proper guns. Their hideously deformed sapper Huerta was trying to dig through my defensive walls. Realizing that my firepower was inferior, I forced my expert constructor Di Cesare to constantly repair the wall Huerta was trying to dig. Needless to say, Di Cesare kept the wall in good shape. After 2 days of struggle, the bandits lost all hope and just left.

I laughed my ass off on the floor.

Best immersive sim since OG Deus Ex.

A Boomer's wet dream.

This game is like playing Lego but instead of sticking blocks into each other you stick parts you find to your robot and literally become terminator.

Oh, and the dev is a really cool guy. So yeah, go buy the game.

Ingredients

• 4 cloves of Fallout, minced
  
• 2 cups of fresh Deus Ex juice
  
• 1/2 teaspoon of System Shock 2 extract
  
• 1 large Jagged Allience 2, finely chopped (divided)
  
• 6 tablespoons of Stygian

Preparation
Take your Fallout cloves and carefully remove their character creations and isometric views and put them in a mixing bowl. Chop your Jagged Allience 2 finely so that it is one character only. Add this to your bowl for immense combat depth. Add your System Shock 2 extract (that has psi skills in it) on top. Mix them well. Then, cook the mixture on low heat with a little bit of oil. This ensures that your Underrail will be well designed and not rushed. While it's cooking, prepare your sauce. Take your Deus Ex juice and filter it so that there's only good level design and ventilation shafts left. Add your Stygian to it. This will give the dish it's unique taste and hold all the flavor together. When you finish cooking the mixture, add your Deus Ex / Stygian sauce on top. And done! You have made a delicious Underrail that you can play for months. Bon appetit!

Impeccable art direction, amazing writing and voice acting, nice puzzles...

I don't even know how it is possible to be this good.

Laughed hard at the Fallout reference

[++] Exploration is rewarding (You will find a lot of cool stuff).
[+] Puzzles are great, except a few which were meh.
[++] World and level desing are exemplary (The best since Dark Souls 1).
[+] Character progression is good, you get the feeling that your party is becoming stronger as the game goes.
[+] Looks awesome and has a great atmosphere.
[+] Soundtrack and sound effects are nice.
[+-] Character creation is not bad, but there isn't many viable builds which may reduce replayability.
[+-] Combat is good but has some minor annoyances (Managing your party's health, mana etc. while dodging a dozen enemies is really awkward).

Overall, it's one of the best RPGs released in the last decade and definitely worth checking out.
