Katana ZERO's a fast-paced action platformer with an interesting story, cool pixel graphics, and a nice synthwave style soundtrack.

The gameplay can be intense but it's quite fun and with solid controls it really gives you a sense of accomplishment after playing a well timed stage.

Overall it's a great game!

ICEY's a barely recommended game for me. It's a good looking 2D hack and slash with pretty backgrounds and cool boss fights.
The gameplay's alright with some nice combo's, but I wasn't a fan of the story, and was definitely not a fan of the narration. Wasn't my cup of tea.

It's just an ok game, nothing special.

Wow, what a game! It was a lot better than I thought it would be.
A chill & relaxing 2D platformer with some light puzzle elements, and an art style / soundtrack that just fits so perfectly.
The visuals are done very well. It's creative and beautiful, and the soundtrack is pretty powerful, one of the best I've heard in a platformer.

A pretty cool game using the unreal engine which looks great, however the controls while free roaming felt a little clunky and the amount of achievements for a game like this were unnecessary IMO.
The music though was fantastic, loved it!

A pretty cool atmospheric platformer reminiscent of games like Limbo & Inside. Playing through it also gave me "Interstellar" and "Oblivion" vibes.

It's enjoyable, but not having an option to change your resolution is really disappointing :(

Easily one of the best run and gun platformers out there. The 1930s inspired visuals and the hand drawn animations are amazing!

It's quite a difficult game, and you'll nerd rage at some point, but it's 100% worth!

This plays very much like Limbo, and the way it's presented is awesome.
Cool art style, the animations are smooth, and "Shockwave" from the OST is so good <3

A fantastic atmospheric platformer! Definitely a must play.

But seriously, if you don't have another way to play Contra, then it's a nice little collection to have.

I didn't realize this was an older game released back in 2012 on PSN. I only came across this game last year and recently started playing it.

I admit, I didn't initially enjoy it but my opinion of the game quickly changed the more I played through it. Along the way you'll run into some other companions whether briefly or for most of your "Journey" ;) and may end up even travelling together.

The gameplay is simplistic and there's a lot of walking / gliding, but with the beautiful visuals and excellent soundtrack, it's a fantastic game.
I would definitely recommend playing this. Great experience!

Sine Mora EX is an updated version of the original that was released back in 2012, bringing some new game modes, full English voice overs, and updated visuals to name a few.

Unlike some other shoot 'em ups based on one hit deaths, Sine Mora EX has a unique time mechanic where you need to complete the stage within the time given. If you get hit you lose time, however destroying enemies and collecting certain power ups increases your time.

I did have an issue where setting the graphics quality to ultra would cause the game to immediately crash so I left it on high. That being said, the visuals at 4k looked really nice, and the overall gameplay was solid.

Definitely a must play if you're into shoot 'em ups.
