Can't recommend this game enough. The variety of gameplay is astounding and a joy throughout. The devs quirky sense of humor shines through on many cutscenes. Speaking of which, the art direction is solid and has an "indie-like" aesthetic, despite this not technically being an indie title. Overall, I really enjoyed this game and look forward to replaying it again in the future.

I haven't played a game this obsessively since Breath of the Wild and Skyrim before that. Highly recommended for the gluttons for punishment among us.

The whole game only takes about 2-3 hours. The puzzles are fun and clever but not really difficult. It's the bond between the brothers, and the plot twists, that really make it worthwhile. It's really just a way to tell a story in a clever way. It gets pretty dark at the end, and there's a few "feels" moments when you get near the end.

If you don't care for stories about loss, emotion, and family interaction, you probably won't like it. But if you like clever use of simple mechanics and an emotional story, it's totally worth it. Aside from learning to control the game using a thumbstick for each character, the difficulty is fairly minimal.

The story is great though. Regard it as you playing along with a brilliant story, you're there for the ride. The payoff is definitely worth it.

OH! Before I forget! My first playthrough was a co-op run with a friend that has spent much of her life unable to enjoy gaming. With half of the controller in each of our hands, we managed to clear the entire story together. Needless to say, both of us were blown away by this game. Secret co-op mode is totally worth it!

Engaging 2D platformer shooter filled with loads of content to check out. The premise reminds me of The Binding of Issac where you start off each playthrough with a character using a default set of abilities while the goal is to survive by collecting items and leveling up your character. Very challenging game with great music and tons to offer.
