Return of the Obra Dinn is a very satisfying game to complete, and I loved pouring over all of the information provided to look for clues. The game's story is presented very well and utilizes the mechanic of the game to incredible effectiveness and blew my mind several times while playing. The limited color pallet allowed for some detailed gruesome deaths that aren't disturbing to look at.

No Outer Wilds experience is complete without Echoes of the Eye. Someone's always cutting onions when I'm finishing the DLC.

Wait; I thought this was the Outer Worlds?

Very good game with a story that couldn't be told in any other media.

I really want to recommend this game, but I have been getting performance issues even at the lowest graphics settings. If you have more powerful hardware then you should probably be good.

It's Halo. On PC. If that alone doesn't sell you on this game I don't know what will.

I think I remember people having problems with Halo Reach at launch, but I never noticed any issues, and am unaware if anyone still has them. Halo Reach is graphically an incredible upgrade from it's original 360 release; it no longer has the weird blur in cutscenes and seems to have a more vibrant palette.

In the current (as of writing) update Halo CE no longer has many of the previous audio issues. Some sounds are still too quiet, and grunt birthday party may be a little loud, but it is an improvement.

With the release of Halo 3, Halo 2 also got updated and runs much better than before. I'm actually getting beyond 100 fps when before I struggled to get 60. Good job 343!

Halo 3 was released about 3 hours ago, and I am so happy to say that it plays like a dream. I have yet to run into any issues with the game.

Personally I think that the problems present in the game releases are from Microsoft trying to get 343 to release all of the games in time for Halo Infinite, and I have confidence that 343 will work towards fixing them in the future. So far all of the game releases have been stable for me, but you might want to look further to see how other players are experiencing the games.

I think anyone who read the other reviews and has already decided they are interested should know that I would recommend playing this game with a controller, and not touching the options menu. Also in this review, I will be only talking about some of the negative things I came across, so look to the other reviews for a more balanced view of how the game will play. I play with ESDF instead of WASD, but in this game I spent around 10 agonizing minutes fiddling in the settings because not all of my movement keys could be rebound, and would scroll to the top of the menu. I also had a lot of trouble with the resolution. Playing in 1080p, fullscreen, my toolbar would be halfway off the screen. When I tried changing to borderless windowed I found out that I would have to click and drag options in a dropdown menu, making it difficult to select resolution and window types.

There are a few issues I have in the game with movement and combat. For one, I wish analog controls worked in the game instead of a full tilt run at all times. There have been a few times where I've watered the wrong crop or missed mining a rock. I also have some difficulty in combat because I've noticed sometimes I would swing right through an enemy without a hit registering and feeling like enemies can get too close before being in range to be attacked. Hitboxes often do seem to be a bit weird in this game, although I mostly got used to it.

Fishing is overall pretty fun, but for some strange reason the bottom part of the fishing bar is smaller than it looks, so I sometimes start to lose a fish because I expect it to be within catchable range. I also don't quite understand why fishing lures seem to be the only tools in the game to have durability.

The most recent update to GTA Online locked almost 200 previously existing vehicles behind a paywall that isn't even available on PC.

Don't bother with GTA Online anymore. The singleplayer is good.

Pros:
Good story.
Cool weapons. Not BFG cool, but Nazi laser turret cool.
Good gameplay overall.

Mid:
100 fov max.
Very slow stealth sections.
I feel like the music choice could have been better.

Cons:
Not as fun as older entries in the series.
Terrible optimization. Locked to 60 fps, and for some reason when I got a new monitor, the game hasn't been able to get 60 fps like I used to, even on low.
No anti-aliasing, very noticable pixels, film grain.

I can't even play this game for more than a few minutes from the low framerate.
If you want a great shooter and don't care about story so much, get Doom 4, that game has beautiful optimization and is tons of fun.

Many of my problems I had with the remake were fixed in the most recent update. This is certainly the definitive way to play the game now, as many of the problems with the original game were fixed, such as the physics framerate being way smoother now, now having an FOV slider, more mouse sensitivity options, and most importantly; no mouse smoothing.

I had a few encounters with objects in the world flickering when certain effects were on my screen, and irritating flashing lights, so be aware of that. I also searched the issue, and found that it's worse for some than it is for others.

Keep in mind if you're a bit stripped of cash that this is basically the original game with some mods- in fact, many of the problems I mentioned can be fixed with some modification to the original game, so buy this if you really want the extra content and updated graphics.

It's kind of like if you took "TLoZ: A Link to the Past" and mixed it with a bit of "Wind Waker," only you have no control of your ship after choosing a destination, and you have to learn about islands before you can visit them. The tutorial is short and sweet, and you're ready to go sailing in about 10 minutes or so. The gameplay is mostly smooth, other than the stamina gauge, which runs out after a short sprint, and the cannon controls have no options to turn on Y-axis inverting or not, so I often switch to mouse controls for those parts.
