I REALLY wanted to give this game a chance because it looked cool even though it ha d a bunch of bad reviews but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is an embarrassment to game development. I would sabotage a cure for cancer if it meant I could stop this game from being made in the first place. The map is HORRID just rocks stacked on top of each other in giant awful looking pillars just for the sake of being thrown in there. There's a medieval castle 30 yards from a Chinese temple. I'd say this game is "free assets the game" but that would be an insult to games made entirely of free assets. Should have taken another year to just make the game playable with at least a decent map. NONE of the positive reviews for this game if there are any should be taken serious. The game has good bones it really does but those bones need to stay buried if you think this game was ok to release even in early access.

10/10 so much fun especially with friends

This game was a true Sonic game through and through, the ONLY negative thing i have to say about it is the final boss is lackluster compared to EVERY boss that came before it. Aside from that this was the breath of fresh air that the franchise needed, they gave a combat system for the open world and the traversal was awesome. The levels were great, loved that some were the old platformer style and others were the 3d style. The story was actually not half bad with the introduction of an all new character and the character arc that came along with her. I really have nothing bad to say about this game except that underwhelming final boss because for what Sonic has always been this matches the energy and then some. Hands down the best Sonic game since Adventure 2 or Unleashed not counting generations. The music....oh my GOD the music, this might have the best soundtrack out of any of the Sonic games ever if I'm not looking through my nostalgia goggles at the old Crush 40 songs. Every one of the island bosses has its own soundtrack that gives off final boss energy I was so hype when the tracks played. Now again, the final boss was pretty disappointing and it DID kill my vibe in the game a bit but after I took a bit away from the game after that and reflected I have to say I had such a fantastic time with this game and I can't even be too mad at the final boss for all the stuff that they brought to the table in this game. This game was made 100% with the Sonic fans in mind and it shows. If you aren't a Sonic fan then you might not like it, but if you are, you're in for a ride.

I refunded this game after really trying it for a bit. Tried this game because of the price and thought that me and my friends could have some fun with the game's claim of replay-ability. But moving keys around the map that might not even spawn and having items randomly spawn as we go does not make the game replay-able and putting some pipes in the map that can get you killed just because steam hits you doesn't make the game more difficult or more fun, it makes it annoying, because there's no warning system for the steam you can't avoid it if you're walking passed it and the pipe decides to blow steam at you. Game seems like a quick cash grab with minimal effort. There's a good concept to it and i might re-buy it if i see that they truly make some improvements to the game but idk i wouldn't be proud of releasing this and charging money for it.

Raids are a lot of fun with friends.
