I picked up this game during a sale, and for the discount price, it is definitely worth it. If you’re looking for a short, unique, and vibey experience, this is it.

The Good:
Super Calming: The game has such a relaxing atmosphere. There’s no rush, and just wandering around the forest setting up cameras is surprisingly therapeutic.

Squirrel Watching: Honestly, watching the squirrels and tracking their paths is the best part. It’s simple but very fun and satisfying to finally catch their stash on camera.

The Aesthetic: The art style and colors are really cool and make the game feel very "indie" and fresh.

The Credits Song: I absolutely loved the song during the end credits! It was such a perfect way to wrap up the experience—I stayed just to listen to it.

The Not-So-Good:
The Ending: My only real complaint is the story's ending. It felt very abrupt, like it just suddenly stopped without much closure. It was a bit disappointing after getting so invested.

Length: It’s a very short game. I finished it pretty quickly, so I definitely recommend getting it on a discount rather than full price.

This is not just a game; it's a profound emotional experience. Unlike most war games that focus on soldiers and glory, This War of Mine puts you in the shoes of the forgotten ones—the civilians.

It shows the brutal, depressing reality of trying to survive in a besieged city. Every day is a struggle for food, medicine, and warmth, and every night is a terrifying gamble for resources. The atmosphere is so thick and heavy that you can truly feel the desperation and the weight of every choice you make. It’s a haunting reminder that in war, the greatest cost is paid by those who have nothing to do with the fighting.

This game left me feeling deeply saddened but also more aware of the world we live in. My only wish after playing this is for all wars to end and for peace to prevail everywhere. May no one have to endure the pain shown in this story.

Short, sweet, and incredibly satisfying!
For a free-to-play idle game, this is an absolute gem. You can complete it in about an hour, but that one hour is pure fun. The sound design is the best part—hearing dozens of arrows hit targets simultaneously towards the end gives such a massive dopamine hit. I could honestly listen to those sound effects for hours! My personal favorite was the portal arrows; they make the gameplay so much more satisfying.
