Most helpul advice I can give to get the best early game experiance. Private Servers. it is a far better experiance because Public servers are teh toxic.

1700+ hours into this game so far, not counting all the hours spent toying with mods to go with it. I got my moneys worth. Most fun I have had with a game since Tribes in the early 90's.

Despite the consistent wave of indignant outrage, It's a solid addition to the existing base game, and adds some real challenge for those that have already perfected survival on the island. I look forward to more extreme conditions and fantastical future content like this.
