Game very good, runs well. New meta of review bombing good games because we whine like babies at every EULA is bad. Stop being a baby

Gameplay is actually really well done. Gear systems feel good and the combat is weighty, enemies are well designed, and the crafting and progression systems feel solid. The atmosphere in general so far feels pretty great too. I usually like making comparisons to other games and so far I would say this is kind of a mashup between a really good survival game and something akin to Remnant. Like The First Descendant, there's no reason not to just try it since it's free. My only complaint would be the over complication of the monetization. I'm fine with them making money on battle passes and microtransactions, but the amount of currencies and menus makes it feel WAY too complicated. Overall I think this is worth your time and I'm curious how the game will progress as time goes on.

Actually better than I thought it would be. If you smashed together a looter shooter with the progression system of Warframe you'll get The First Descendant. I haven't been able to dive too deeply into the various systems but there is some depth to what's there and the game plays fairly well. The environments leave a lot to be desired which would would be my biggest critique. Regardless, the game is free so there's no reason not to try it.

I need to make a PSN account to play now? Oh, the horror! You mean Sony is going to have access to my "data" like every other company in existence? Woe is me. Next your going to tell me Steam, my ISP, Google, my social media accounts, and my cell phone are also going to have access to my "Data".....oh wait.

Game is excellent and I really love the vision that they're going for. The combat feels extremely smooth and visceral and the gear is unique and interesting and I can already see lots of different ways to play after just a few hours.

There have been a few frame drops which does hurt the combat but I would say 70% of the time or more I'm hitting 60FPS or higher at 1440p. Definitely more souls-like than ARPG but it's a unique mix of the two. I'm hoping and praying the devs keep their vision because I'm already seeing crybullys ask "change this" and "change that". Not every game needs to conform to the same cookiecutter garbage and I really hope the devs don't fold to the masses and make this game another by the numbers situation.

Gameplay aside the art style is awesome and I'm actually intrigued by the story so far. Looking forward to more of this.

For people saying its too hard, git gud. I'm not even good at video games and I already have 20+ healing items and areas DO respawn so people saying you can become hardstuck are wrong.

Only 10 hours on PC at the moment but many more on PS5. Incredible soulslike/action game with extreme depth and mountains of content.

Performance issues were terribly overblown. I'm getting 60+ average FPS at 1440p running on a Ryzen 5 3600. People leaving negative reviews are either using potatoes or lying. If you want to look at real reviews, read the ones who dint play for an hour and refund to troll. The combat is phenomenal; and the world is ALIVE, never seen anything like it. If you're a fan of the original or fantasy in any form, this is absolutely worth a purchase.

Day one server issues aside, the game is phenomenal if you're an ARPG fan. Children review bombing for server issues are sad.

I haven't had this much fun with a video game in a very, very long time. If you're a bit older I think expressing that alone will help you understand how awesome this game is.

Don't let short attention spanned zoomer children fool you, the game is fantastic.
If you've ever enjoyed any Fallout or Elder Scrolls title this will be an obvious buy.
Anyone who tells you that No Mans Sky, Elite Dangerous, or Star Citizen are "better" are
A. Comparing apples to oranges and
B. Most likely haven't played those games.
