Yes, yes, yes. Best space game in a long time. all the planets are lush and interesting. The story is fantastic, dialogue top notch. Graphics are stellar for a 2019 game.

First played it on gamepass. Had to replay it and got the spacers choice version in a humble bundle. It seems slightly bugger than the base game i played but its bearable - just some weird slowness hear and there that clears up

This game is far better than Starfield. The only thing is theres no actual space flight. Hopefully outer worlds 2 packs the goodies.

It's pretty good. I enjoyed it enough to level 2 characters to 60. once you get to 60, you improve your "gear score" which advances your gear.

i played one one character enough to get the gear score up quite a bit but im getting a little bored now and dont really feel too obligated to continue playing it.

frankly the game needs more content. the only endgame content right now is upping your gear score, playing outpost rush (just queued 20v20 matches that have no bearing on the factions/world), and running the dungeons over and over. the dungeons are like 5 man dungeons in gw2, and they have mutators which change the difficulty. but that just simply isnt enough. i dont care to run the same dungeons over and over. doing them each 3-4 times is fine but after that its a bore.

what this game needs....
* more incentive to open world pvp
* more dungeons
* RAIDS (10-20 man dungeons or something like that)
* open world events -- there are basically none right now besides holiday events
* more OPR maps
* a better siege system. i am having trouble getting into any company vs company sieges. make it more accessible!

overall its worth playing. just be aware that you will likely lose interest after level 60. there isn't enough right now to just keep playing it. But if we are to believe the dev blogs, there is a lot of content on the way...

1 step forward. 2 steps backward.

The old risk game here on steam had bugs, lots of em. this new risk game is smoothe as butter. but the old risk game was way better in gameplay. the rolls made more sense. for instance, if i plant a 5 next to a 9, i expect that 5 to deliver a significant blow should that 9 choose to attack. but now, a 9 can attack a 5 unscathed. in fact, if the 9 loses 2 during its attack, im amazed.

thats a problem, it means that in their algorithm, unless your # basically matches the opponents, then it doesnt mean anything. so what incentive do i have to put units anywhere except all on a single circle? well tahst exactly how the game is played. tons of 1's and a big 50. super boring.

i did notice however that if a 27 faces a 50, the 27 will tend to do about 27 damage to the 50.

this is a bit better (for longer games) but the early game is a total failure. in addition, when you defeat an enemy, you get all their cards and a SECOND turn. it makes ysou godlike early game if you happen to luckily defeat someone.

the early game is a complete mess, and the late game is a snoozefest. in the old Risk, the late game was fun because the cards would give you progressively more units. now they are static (by default) and so the lategame is really not fun. it just involves people sitting around and waiting for others to attack.

The old risk had really good RNG that made uneven fights somewhat worthwhile, a good early game (that didnt make anyone OP) and a fun lategame.

now its just made for kids so everyone can feel like they are getting a participation trophie. needs major fixes.

What started off so strong kind of ended weak. First, some pros/cons...

Pros:
* Amazing graphics
* Really amazingly crafted world
* Semi-open world style is really easy to get into
* Great combat/gunplay
* Great voice acting, and dialogue
* World in general is just fascinating
* Great blend of stealth and rambo

Cons:
* Bad (kind of non-existent) ending
* Plot can be confusing at times
* Sneaking often just lead to having to go rambo

Really overall, this game is amazing. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of half-life, mass effect, and other similar sci-fi games. This is right in that genre, and it really nails all the points you want in a true sci-fi game. I played it to get hyped for CyberPunk 2077.

The only real bummer about this game was the ending. The final mission (missions?) take you to London. Well, really its just one building in London. And really, its just 1 mission. You end up defeating the boss, saving the day, and wrapping up the whole plot in less than like 30 minutes. It's very rushed. The ending made sense at least, so its nowhere near as bad as Mass Effect's ending. But, it was just way too fast. It tries to set up for another game, which I really hope is on its way. Adam Jensen is such a badass character, and i hope we can play as him again.

The only other thing I can really complain about is the stealth. The stealth itself is pretty amazing. Theres plenty of air vents to crawl through, ledges to climb. You can go invisible, and zip around to avoid being detected. That said, it sucked once you do get detected. Because often times the entire dang level/building of enemies will just descend upon you, and sometimes there wasn't much I could do to get the heat off me. So I would often just end up Rambo'ing through all the enemies anyway. So, while the stealth was good when I was successful, it was crappy when I wasn't successful. Like really crappy. It made stealth kind of seem pointless, as in maybe I should've just charged straight into the front gate and rambo'd it anyway.

All in all, an amazing game. Play it! It's not too late, this is still an incredible game. For an almost 5 year old game, it seems like it could've came out yesterday.

Awesome game. You team up with up to 3 other people, and drop into randomly generated caves. There are 4 classes, and the objectives vary:

* Get minerals
* Acquire 20x of this or that
* Kill large bosses
* Repair broken somethins or other

The objectives themselves are par for the course, but its the journey getting there thats awesome. Bugs constantly swarm you, loot chests take priority, burrowing deep into the rock to find hidden areas, and working with your teamates to get the job done.

They've been adding content constantly since I got this game a year ago. And it looks like they have no plans to stop. This game is the real deal. Get it!

got this in a humble bundle and played one level and that's enough for me. this is the most uninspiring game i've played in a while. endless waves/hordes of boring enemies rush at you while you click click click to slash your sword at em.

and i guess the game wants me to keep playing to get better loot? idgaf about loot i want gameplay.

why do people like this game? if it came out 10 years ago i'd probably praise it but it's just not doing anything new or inspiring to keep me playing. its not even scary. at least left 4 dead was scary when it first came out. also the whole dwarf witch fantasy ♥♥♥♥ is lame and overdone / played out.

I was a kickstarter backer. I played throughout the early alpha/beta phases and played a few hours today.

This game is awesome. It's everything minecraft isn't. It exceeds minecraft in graphics, UI, world, quality, consistency, etc.

I do recommend this game if you really like building and thats all you care about.

Unfortunately, at this point in time the world feels rather dull. You build, thats it. But given that this is an MMO and there are multiple planets/worlds, I do feel that Wonderstruck is going for something more than just "build stuff". They want to create a living, breathing world with PvE endgame, guild PvP, settlement raids, etc.

However, none of this stuff exists yet. So, if thats what you are looking for you, you will be dissapointed. At this point in time, its just a very pretty building game.

Got it for free from Steam. Game is pretty boring. you just rob banks over and over. i guess people play it for the RNB of getting better items?

Honestly the game seems like a free to play type game with grinding thrown in... Got bored after half an hour

Fantastic. The new update that got rid of mega bots and made all weapons viable is great. This makes it more fun for everyone. The game is even better now. I don't get what most of the negative reviews are about. Seems like a bunch of people who don't like change :)
