I'm that idiot who buys all the Paradox DLCs on release. Sometimes I'm disappointed. Usually I'm okay with the purchase. Sometimes I'm impressed. This one is worth purchasing.

Incredibly engrossing. Everything seems to be going great, and then a hundred giant bugs come out of a hole in the middle of your kitchen.

Is it early access? Yes. Is it already a fully enjoyable game that I've sunk hundreds of hours into? Also yes. Great game and getting better every development iteration! Space combat is very fun. Despite a certain rinse-repeat to it, each fight still ends up being different enough to make it worth diving in and taking control. The strategy layer is incredibly engaging. Just be warned: a play-through is very long. These are the people who made the XCOM Long War mod (taking a 100 play-through and making it even longer), so expect to sink some time into this. By the time I finished my first play-through there was already a major content update, making the next play-through a very different (but still very fun) experience. Two thumbs enthusiastically up!

The bones of a game that I could spend hundreds of hours playing are there. It also has surprisingly few bugs for an early access game. Early access games rarely reach a point where they have the content that makes the difference between a great concept and a great game. While I hope this game gets fully fleshed out, I won't hold my breath. But, this is already better made than Banished and seems to still be getting developer love. Really promising so far. I'll try it again in a few months when (hopefully) there is more content.

Is it worth the $5? No. But keeping good modders working on this game is worth $5. Bought it to support the modder.

Fun co-op survival game. Far, far more developed than any other survival game out there. It has bugs though. Small mountains of bugs. But, because of the size of the game, they are experienced relatively less frequently than most other games in the survival co-op genre.

What a joke. This DLC is very broken. Fortunately, there are mods that make it work. EA should give every penny they make for this DLC to the mod makers. This DLC has been out for SEVEN years and the developer can't be bothered to fix it?

Great game. It is a lot of fun!

If you've been looking for a game where you can wander around a forest, listen to the birds, and watch deer dance through the trees... with your favorite 300 kg pet saber-toothed tiger, this is the game for you. Neanderthals start hunting a group of humans, so the humans make them extinct with the aid of their new found ability to tame animals. Science be damned, but it is a enjoyable game.

It's Quake. Everything that made Quake great, with goats. It's great.
