it's as bad and as good as people say it is

THE GOOD: the game looks great for the most part, city building is fun, there is alot of QoL changed from CS1, and it's been great. traffic is an upgrade (but definitely still has issues), the scale of the game feel amazing, i love specialized industry, medium density homes, row housing. i love the ploppable upgrades, and i love the landscaping and pedestrian tools, though it's bare bones right now, it still feels amazing to use and really rewarding to flesh out and decorate your city. expanding your city is a huge pleasure, and rarely a chore, unlike CS1. AND the game is like a dollar or two on game pass? If you want this game, absolutely do not get this on Steam in it's current state

THE BAD: the bugs in this game fly at you out the wazoo. all your cars will drive through each other, your terrain will clip and disappear, your pedestrians will walk everywhere except on sidewalks, there's just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many. performance is still ♥♥♥♥, i've been robbed of my achievements cause they don't work, but i would have been 100% achievements forever ago. the radio repeats the same ♥♥♥♥ every 5 minutes and gets old real fast, the modding doesn't exist and from the sounds of it, won't for a long time. that blows, but oh well.

get it on game pass, save yourself so much money. i love love love this game, but i wanna see it get better, so as a community we need to be critical, and stop letting these kind of game launches happen.
