I was skeptical prior to the purcahse, but gave in after seeing all the reviews praising the game and how even the negative ones spoke about the game being fun but a little buggy.

BIG MISTAKE

After sinking some time into it, I can safely say the core game loop is just bad, copied and unoriginal. It's like a zoomer fiesta consisting of a zelda, genshin and satisfactory mix with with copyright free pokemon thrown in there. Combat is tedious and boring, crafting certain guns and mats is insanely slow, levels work in an odd fashion where it doesn't feel right facing lower level "pals", but more importantly you have no tools to deal with ones that are much higher because your damage is lowered to 1 no matter your equipment and the world feels super uninspired an empty because it's filled with Unreal Engine prefabs.

And that barely scratches the surface. Maybe modern games are not for me, but this literally feels like something that was meant to appeal to a toddler with a severe form of ADHD and social media addiction. It has every popular trope from modern games bundled up and done in a mediocre way.

Imagine playing an unreal engine game developed by your 15 yo friend whose favourite game is roblox and is a "total pro" when it comes to making games. He kept telling you about this insane game idea he had that would blow up, except it actually blew up and sold millions because streamers picked up the game due to populatiry and their audiences followed.
