If I would have to describe how a platformer should be, then I would simply say Ori.
Not only is the graphic art astonishingly beautiful. it has insentive towards exploration, multiple ways to get to them and the platforming is challenging (not quite on "I wanna be the guy"). The game feels so incredibly free and the timing of the soundtrack is amazing aswell.

ANYONE should play this, it's a true gem on the level of bastion or transistor.
Worth every penny i spend on it.
