Yes.

Soulash II is the most accessible and rewarding roguelike I have ever played. This game manages to blend so many genres- classic RPGs, roguelikes, open world survival games, settlement managment, and political simulation.

Yet, it does it in a way that is relatively easy and quick to pick up. The micro-management is minimal, the controls are MUCH less convoluted than games like DF Adventure mode, the procedural world feels more immersive and coherent than you might expect, and the progression feels good rather than tedious.

I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys games like DF, Kenshi, and Paradox games.

I've still only seen about 3/4s of the in-game world.

The definition of an outstanding, innovative, and long-burning open world farm sim. Collections, extensive crafting, custom housing, different strategies for progressing, and an entire town of endearing characters.

Did I mention it has a solid plot and a main quest that progresses at your pace?

10/10, your best chance at getting married, hands down.

Great concept, needs work.

In particular, the multiplayer chat and difficulty scaling are awful. The fact that players who don't progress as quickly will have to deal with high level raids spawned by guildmate level, and that base inventories must be shared, is just a non-starter for anyone who likes to build aesthetically and explore at their leisure.

Bought this in another time. In retrospect, I now realize the reason I could never get into it- whatever the difficulty settings, it's ultimately a reflex test until you finally get bit, and that's it. No reloading. That's fine, but in a world with hundreds of games, that level of commitment to learning something to enjoy it just isn't appealing anymore.
