Has to be my favourite franchise of all time. I love how it plops you into these huge levels with only a crude map and a list of objectives. It's so immersive. It urges you to get lost, and then further amps up the tension to an almost survival-horror level by making you extremely vulnerable. Then, it even FURTHER amps up that tension as the game goes on with its horror elements.
