I love this game's combat since it brings depth to MOBA combat while stripping away itemization and farming. But it's fundamentally a dead competitive game.

It's a serviceable and short sci-fi noir adventure game. Played it a long time ago and don't remember much, but if I had some time to kill I would run through one more time.

Very shiny visually, but narratively the game just felt too self-important in a way that Bastion never came across as. For me, Rucks's weathered melancholy is a lot more credible than what feels like a hipster circlej*rk in this game. I'll dunk on the game one more time here -- most cyberpunk games drag themselves down narratively by being too mindlessly anti-establishment, but Transistor actually manages to avoid this pitfall by seemingly having nothing say to begin with. To this day, I still don't really remember what Transistor was about beyond a bunch of people having an argument about how to be cooler.

Combat-wise, there's a ton of options, but wasn't mind-blowing. Planning takes a little too much priority over movement and some combos are pretty OP, which sucks some of the life out of the game.

Fallout 1 had great, bleak worldbuilding, but by today's standards feels super dated. Still a classic.

Fallout 2 is basically Fallout 1 but with more memes. Unfortunately, being less serious doesn't do it many favors, but still a classic.

Fallout 3 tries to make the apocalypse cool but doesn't manage to build an engaging world. The shooting is also terrible.

Fallout: NV takes the series back to its roots a bit, but the bad combat and lack of polish still mar the experience. Despite the amazing depth of a lot of the characters, the writing never clicked with me. Maybe for me a combination of the character models, the lip-sync, the voice acting, and the moral soapboxing just made the narrative seem a little too uncanny for me.

Was fun to run around in for a while but essentially has the same problems that Skyrim does. Elder Scrolls games are not deep.

Has some funny moments but they're strung together by a cut rate GTA clone.

Even as a DotA fan, this game only held my attention for a couple weeks. It's cool that it runs on mobile, but metas got solved very quickly, leaving only luck. Seeing that it's now abandoned makes it even less appealing.
