Deus Ex: Mankind Divided wasn't the sequel I expected, but it was still fun. The plot didn't stand up to the rest of the series, in my opinion. However, the gameplay is very enjoyable, as well as the RPG uprgrade mechanics (augments). Some people were upset about the inclusion of an in-game store for microtransactions, and while I am normally against those, in this game it was well implemented. I wouldn't even have noticed it if it weren't for people mentioning it, it is so out of the way. I forgot it existed for most of the game, and never bought anything from it. I didn't encounter any performance issues playing on high graphics, like some users mention. This game, while the plot was a bit dissapointing, the other parts of the game make up for it and I would buy this game again.

I would recommend this game to fans of the Deus Ex series, as well as fans of RPGs.

UPDATE FOR SYSTEM RIFT DLC: The System Rift DLC was pretty fun, albeit short. I would recommend getting it, but waiting for a discount. Which I would also say for this game as well.

What the hell. I'm not going to pay for a game that''s an obvious money grab. Thanks for the info man.

Yeah, essentially. You can pay real money for praxis kits, crafting parts, biocells, and more, if I remember correctly. It's like mobile games, where you can pay money to get upgrades instead of playing to unlock them.

What do you mean by "instore microtransactions"? Are you talking about real money?

It wasn't the sequel you expected. It's the sequel you deserved.
