Early Access Review
Excellent followup to the first game. Even in early access you can get plenty of gameplay out of it. I've found the getting to the end a little easier than the previous game but I'm better than when I first started playing Hades and I've found the modifiers used later on to be harder than heat from the previous game overall. Looking forward to playing the whole game when it's released.

I love this game, I can't stop playing it. It might be one of the best games I've ever played. Not only is the gameplay loop incredibly tight but it has many endearing characters that you can't help but love. Even after all these hours and numerous escapes I'm still finding new boon combinations that make the game feel fresh. There's something here for everyone, this is one game that everyone should check out.

Early Access Review
This game is really smart. It will inevitably be compared to other games in the genre - Diablo, path of exile, grim dawn, etc. - but I think it has forged it's own identity. The time travel mechanic is deeply ingrained in the identity of this game and is used in a lot of fascinating ways in the story. The way they handle individual elements of the gameplay from building characters and picking skills to itemization are really handled in a really smart way. The developers fundamentally GET ARPGs. I'm really excited to see where this game goes in the future and I hope they do a good job implementing multi-player soon so I can enjoy this with friends.

I wanted to like this game. It's beautiful and the setting is awesome. However, I do not enjoy having to replay large sections of a level or wait for the perfect moment to sneak between guard rotations. Some people might enjoy that but I find it tedious. I like some flexibility in how to approach a situation and there's not much of that in this game, in my opinion.

I'm on the fence about recommending this game. On the one hand, if you're a star wars fan this is a solid experience - there's plenty of lore and interesting characters. On the other hand, this is a fundamentally clunky game. I hate some of the floaty garbage I experienced playing this, some deaths even feel unfair at times simply because of animation issues or control problems. I also played on the Jedi Master difficulty for the entire game up until the last fight. After attempting it close to 20 times I got sick of how cheap it felt (and what a huge difficulty spike this was compared to the rest of the game - I died in fights probably less than a dozen times previous to that through the entire game) and turned the difficulty down to beat it. Overall, it's fine but I'm glad I only paid $20 for it.

This is a tough one. The core gameplay loop is a lot of fun, BUT it is also severely lacking in variety of gameplay. I think that's why this game didn't make more of a splash, because everything else that it does is really high quality, it's just not interesting for very long.

Killing Floor 2 is an excellent sequel and a lot of fun with friends. It's main problem comes from the monetization scheme, pretty much the only way to get cosmetics is to buy them. This isn't necessarily the worst thing but I'd rather not grind for hours to get tiny amounts of cosmetics.

Ori and the Blind Forest is a fantasy metroidvania with beautiful artwork and score. While I find some of the platforming a little floaty, it's still an enjoyable experience and the variety of abilities you get throughout the game helps keep the combat fresh. 8/10

A radiation storm started immediately after winter set in and I was running low on food. All the wildlife died so there was nothing to hunt and because it was winter and I didn't have hydroponics researched yet I couldn't grow any food. Ran out of food and had to eat my pet huskies to try to survive through the storm. Didn't make it. 10/10 would die again

I truly love this game, one of the best success stories from Early Access. I only wish the base building was a little more fleshed out because it's one of the best parts of the game.
