Early Access Review
I was a bit lukewarm on it on release because the combat was janky and it just wasn't there yet. I was finding myself wishing it had chivalry combat or something.


The spectacle update truly made it into something special.

A few points to the dev:

-Polearms need to be easier to use, and stabbing in general seems difficult to pull off? I'm not sold on having to hold a button to stab alongside dragging.

-Midgame gear needs to be cheaper, we tend to spend about 8 weeks in really low tier gear and the game's depth imo (having to slash at exposed armor, having reliable weapons and a build etc) opens up a bit too late.

-The game needs meta progression between runs beyond just passing over gold or a heirloom item. There could be a ludus tech tree that would stay permanent between aspirants, ala Rogue Legacy.

-More RPG/build elements like traits or perks would be good but I think it's on the way?

Otherwise stellar game.
