EVE online but single player - this game WILL consume your life once you get into it. For some of the mechanics it can be a little bit of a steep learning curve, but I find that the Timelines DLC missions help a lot (plus the updated tutorial missions are good too). I will say that I recommend getting all the DLC, maybe wait for a sale to get the whole package, as each adds a lot to the game that I find it hard to let go.

From a humble fighter, you can grow into a trading empire and later a literal empire, becoming the big fish of the Jump Gate Network.

Pilot, rev up them engines, because in X4 you're gonna be doing a lot of flying.

Finally I can live out my dreams. Inshallah Palestine will be liberated irl too

I actually liked the game, though the infinite planets with the same outposts, kinda gets repetitive and it's hard to justify humans so far away lore wise when the cities themselves are not very big. Also the outpost management is a whole headache. I'm giving the negative review specifically for the CK mess. Don't you dare charge us 8 dollars for a mission when it should just be included in the damn updates. I already paid $100 for the premium edition of the game, why the ♥♥♥♥ do I have to pay more?

Really chill game, an interesting take on city-building, and an atmosphere that is hard to not love. Basically everything you make, if you just put a tiny bit of thought into it, is screenshotable and looks gorgeous.

Hours (and I mean hundreds) of fun, with a bit of imagination, you really do feel you are guiding a stellar empire towards glory. When you are preparing for a war you feel like an admiral, and when you are fighting to the end with an end-game crisis you feel like you are juggling entire worlds based on your decisions. If you want an essential endless game - buy Stellaris.
