I honestly did not think I would like this game at all and with the troubles I have had while trying to get Ragnarok to run did not help. I was completely wrong about Ark survival and the Aberration expansion Pack. I’ve got about 50+ hours in them and am enjoying both of them a great deal. This is so much better than I thought it would be.

If you find a good server with decent people and not a server full of idiots I think the game can be a lot of fun if you played it, even moreso with the Aberration expansion. There is not much about the core game and the Aberration expansion that I don’t like, its well made and looked after by the devs.

Would I recommend this game and the Aberration expansion? Hell yeah I would.
Get it, play it and go ride some dinosaurs.

After having tried over and over again since 2018 I have finally gotten into Ragnarok! It is a beautiful map. I was stunned at the way it appeared as I first work up on the beach and then having found the cave systems as well as the diverse biomes and creatures running around, I thought it was awesome.

Pros: Beautifully done with the way the lands and sea looks. It is a well put together map, Challenging dungeons which offer hours of exploration and fun.

Cons: The volcano eruptions could have been better, but it may be all that the creator had to work with. Some of the Dungeons are so dark that not even night vision works. If you use a flashlight it only works in 3rd person which is an odd way of walking around and hoping you don’t fall off the side of a cliff into some lava.

Overall: I would say get this and load it up if you are able to. I know that some people still have trouble loading it, but it’s worth the try. I’ve been trying since 2018

Where do I start with this game? I guess I will start right from the beginning. The game itself is an interesting and deep game. It starts off kind of odd, but then starts getting twisted taking the player and viewers on a ride deep in their minds.
The game play is simple, but challenging. One would never have thought that a game like this would have a story line to it that draws you in more and more with each passing moment. This Strange Realm of Mine did just that.

I can’t say enough great things about this game. If you are interested in games such as this one I highly recommend this game.

This game completely blew me away and left me wanting more with every moment of playing it. The story line and the game play is super awesome. I did not have any issues with glitches or anything else. The story is mindbending and just off the hook awesome!

04Aug2017 – Miscreated Review

I am not even sure where to begin with this game and I mean that is the best of ways. When I first saw the cover art on steam for this game I was thinking that it was some goofy game in which you have to run from a bunch of people one might find in the movie Deliverance. The man looking over his shoulder at this “bumpkin” looking mutant in a camp site does not do the game justice. If I were Entrada Interactive I would change that mutant to look like a mutant that is currently in game. I understand that the cover art most likely was done back in 2014 when the game first came out in Early Access, but still id change it now.

Pros of this game

- (Graphics) I first have to take my hat off to the devs for this beautiful world they have created. All aspects of the capturing of nature at its best and worse are all in this game. The lighting, shadows as well as the overall look and feel of the environment is outstanding.

- The sounds (Audio) are another amazing touch to the game to put the player right into the game so to speak. The startup music is also brilliant. It’s got a sad tone but upbeat at the same time.

- (GamePlay) I only have a few hours like 75+ hours or so into the game but it did not take me that long to see that the games game play is awesome. Sure there are a few things here and there that could be better, but hey it’s not damaging to the game as it currently is. The combat in the game both with firearms, explosives etc are outstanding. The new updates with the scopes and other attachements are on point and again are awesome.

- (Base Building) The base building aspect is great. It takes some time getting used to it however once you get the plans for building new items in game other than those that you start with it gets better. I like there is no set way things have to be placed… within reason.

- (Game Play Style) I am guessing that the game was indented for PVP; however there are PVE settings on servers not controlled by the developers. I love being able to play this in PVE to learn the game without having to worry about being shot in the ass by some KOS person that is out trolling spawn spots.

Cons of the Game

- (Storage Boxes) The first storage box that you are able to create is a 10 slot box. Now this is ok for starting out. You can learn the next stage of storage by getting the 20 slot box too, however even then for a base that may have a lot of team members that is not enough. I know that you can get tents as well as vehicles and use them to store things in and that is great so I guess it kind of balances out in a way, but I would still look into allowing more than one of a storage box type on a base Ex. (Allowing 2 10 slot boxes as to the 1 only.)

- (Back Packs) The bags that we carry are awesome and I like that they can be exchanged for others found in world however if your friends are looking for a bag and you find one, you cannot bring it to them if you currently have a bag. Vests, hats, boots ect. Can be picked up and given, but not bags. I see room for improvement there.

- (Item Stacking) Some items that could be stacked a bit higher in storage would be awesome, as it stands now mostly everything has a small stacking number which takes up space. If you are alone I can see this would be good, but with a large team it is nearly impossible. It would be awesome to increase some stacked items just a few more, nothing crazy or anything.

- (Changing items) If you find a larger backpack than the one you are currently wearing, you cannot simply grab the new bag and everything moves over to the new bag. You must empty everything out of the old bag first sometimes dropping them to the ground. This is the same with every worn item that has a storage slot. I understand if the new bag is smaller than the current bag or clothing etc.. but not if the new one is larger.

Overall

I have to say that this is a beautifully done game, the play, the graphics, the audio and everything else in between is a just awesome! I would highly recommend this game to others, however please make sure that your system can handle the game read that into folks. Don’t come complaining to the devs that something is not working and you are using your grandmother’s first toaster as a PC. If you do not meet the min requirements I would strongly suggest waiting to buy the game.

Also please keep in mind that the game is Early Access, there will be bugs, there will be changes made by the devs and not everyone will like it. Things change.. Keep that in mind too.

Rocket Wars

Where do I being with this other than BUY THIS GAME!! If you are an old school gamer like I am, this game will remind you of the old asteroids game where you fly around shooting asteroids.. only the asteroids don’t shoot back. These ships will.

You can play the AI or with friends locally which is interesting, I was not able to test the multiplayer aspect of it as I was unsure how to get that going. It does not matter however because in the 2 hrs playing and looking at this game it is awesome even In single player mode.
The game is simple.. pew pew pew until you can’t pew pew no more or you die. There are several matches that you can select. I like the last man standing matches because it was interesting.

As you progress and get higher scores you are rewarded with ships and skins. Each ship is an upgrade from the starter ship and has both strength and weaknesses that must be watched carefully. Use the ships strengths to your advantages.

Conclusion: I love this game!! It’s awesome!! The Devs recommend a game controller to play this game, but it’s not needed. I also recommend that game controller as it would be a lot easier to play. If you are thinking about buying this game, stop thinking and start buying, it’s a great game!!

Cooking Witch

This was an interesting game to say the least. The concept of the game is to fly in as a witch and pick up kids and then drop them off in a large cauldron. Each kids color represents different items or the number of items you will get from them after being cooked. Meat, Health and stars are what will come out of the cauldron.

The meat you use as a credit to get upgrades so you can carry more kids, move faster as well increasing the health and stamina bars too. The Hearts will restore your health and the stars are needed in order to keep the sun from rising which will end the game.

The challenge comes in the form of getting the kids in the short time period before daylight as well as dealing with the “Daddies”. The Daddies will attempt to shoot you out of the air while you are trying to snatch up the kids. You can also be hurt by the fireworks that are blasting off into the air left right and center too.

The gameplay I thought was good. The graphics and effects were good for a game like this and everything seemed to work well. The only issue I had was due to me having multiple monitors moving the mouse too far to the left or right of the main screen will cause the mouse to go into the other monitors which will disrupt your game and may cause it to bug out.

Conclusion: The game is a fun game to play to kill a few hours of time. The game had great gameplay, the music was good too, Just be careful if you are a youtuber and record this with the music on.. it will get flagged. I hope that they add more to the upgrade section as once you get everything you are basically done the only thing you are doing then is grinding to see if you can beat the world in getting the most meat score.

Very rarely does a game come along that catches my attention like Astroneer did. The quick and dirty tutorial page that pops up by pressing F1 is all one really needs at this stage. The visuals even being in pre-alpha are stunning to say the least. I have about 20 hours into it and I can honestly say that I am not disappointed about it in anyway.

The game play is fairly smooth in single player mode, however having a few people on your game with you may cause lag spikes, this may be due to the hosting PC or the game itself. I am not sure, however it is a load of fun with others playing and exploring together. The game is in Pre-Alpha so do expect some minor issues here and there, mostly around in the MP section as you may see bits of the land missing as well as other things that may happen.

The devs in of this game are on top right now and working this the way it should be worked. I can tell they care about the game and about what we gamers think when it comes to a game like this. Everyone keeps comparing it to No Mans Sky and that it is better than that game, well I’m sorry but I can’t do that. No Mans Sky should be looking up to Astroneer.

Overall, It’s a great game to play with friends and have a bit of fun with. Do expect some issues here and there, but not “game breaking” Don’t come into the game trying to reach “end game” as there is none. Build, explore and have fun with friends… endless none of that “end game ♥♥♥♥”.

I don’t know where I was or what I was doing in 2012, but I can’t see why I did not grab this game sooner. This is one of those games where you get deep into the story so much so that you lose all sense of time until you finish the game and then have that “ what now?” look on your face as you thrust for more. I really liked this game.

What I liked:
The storyline: It gives you a bit of background on the Lucius as to he just fell out of the sky. The story make the player connect with him and get personally involved with him. Freaking awesome!!

What I did not like:



Conclusion: This is a game I would highly recommend getting. It may be a bit old, but it is outstanding in my opinion. I did not have any trouble starting the game, or playing it and I don’t recall any bugs that made me not want to play the game. It does have some replay value and a mini survival like game at the end which I liked also. Awesome to say the least.

I was a bit reluctant to get this game due to the whiners complaining about so called hackers as well as people bi***ing about the sales practices in which Rockstar and or Steam used in selling the game. However in playing the game I have found it to be interesting to say the least. I have only been on for a few hours and have worked my way around the game a bit learning here and there. In the short time of playing it I really like it.

I have dipped my toe into the ONLINE side of this game and it feels a bit odd, however not as bad as everyone was making it out to be. I don’t know it could be the hour that I am on or what. Who knows? From this experience so far I am happy with it.


Things I’m not pleased about:
Buying the Shark card from STEAM is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! In order to claim the mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you have to go and submit a ticket to rockstar with proof that you bought it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!
