I'm not sure what to think. On one hand it's a beautiful game, with lots of things to do and explore. Ran perfectly fine 60 FPS, didn't notice any chugging. On the other hand, it started to overcook my CPU to the point I had to shut down my PC. No clue why it happened, I was literally in empty space. Thankfully, no permanent damage.

I want to recommend X4 but it tends to tank your system, even when you have more then enough system specs to handle the game. Play at your own risk I'd say, but I think I'll go back to X3.

A must have for any boardgame enthousiasts out there. Great gameplay, good DLC and a solid workshop to boot too. Heck, it even has VR support if you fancy. This game thrives on it's community which, thankfully, is a great community. There is always someone willing to teach you a new game and trolls are few(though may still be encountered). Servers are easy to set up and you can give as much (or barely any) freedom to your players as you want.

Best feature? Table flipping.

Early Access Review
This game surprised me with how good the game is that (without realizing as I was so absorbed in it) I played it non-stop for 13 hours.
Oops.
Regardless of that, I haven't encountered a single bug. No stuttering, no disappearing cards, no quest that ain't work; Nothing. Well done devs, well done indeed! Now of course there is not just only praise, there are some things I am in disagreement with as well. Certain enemy skills being a little unbalanced (looking at you Admirality) or not being able to see what skills your allies have(unless you can and I just haven't found it yet) but these are minor disagreements while also keeping in mind the game is still under development.

TL;DR; Game good, worth price.

The following screenshot should say enough of how addicting this game really is;

Now for my thoughts on Giant Statue Chaser 2018;

If you have played the original Pillars, this game is a must have. A steady improvement from the previous game, with the same good ol'story telling and likeable companions. I really love the exploration side of this game, giving you the freedom to go explore whichever island you want was a wise decision. Not a huge fan of how naval combat is handled, it's a little bit too repetitive, though that's only a minor nitpick. Speaking of new features, while your ship isn't as impressive as caed nua, it thankfully doesn't require the micro management either. It all comes down to hiring sailors and buy supplies for the journey. There is more to it, but I do not want to spoil too much.

Overall, a very likeable game that is a worthy succesor to the original.

What an intense game this is. Not only is it very thought provoking, it is also (even though this is a work of fiction) very much related to some real world events that is happening. The story really sucks you in and manipulates with your train of thought. I honestly can't wait till the next installment.

It's scary to think governments in real life want a system like Orwell... Play the game and you know what I mean.

Do. Not. Buy. As stated in other reviews, the devs have abandoned this game. Real shame though, this game had a lot of potential.
