I loved this mod when I played it the first few times, and unlike a lot of other people I actually quite enjoy the first 15 chambers. After those, though, the puzzles become a bit too frustrating.

This remix looks amazing, arguably better than Portal RTX itself, but I CANNOT excuse the poor optimization and hilariously low frame-rates on 30xx cards (I get 30fps and under on LOW settings with a 3060ti. Unacceptable.)

If the last puzzles were reworked, or perhaps even remade entirely, this would've had the potential to be possibly the best Portal mod of all time, even if they never got proper voice acting. However, with the performance issues, bugs, and sharp increase in difficulty in the last few puzzles, this mod almost feels like a chore to play and it sucks because this was a cornerstone for portal mods back in the day and it would've been nice to see this get the update it deserves.

This is literally just Portal: Prelude shoved into Portal RTX with new voicelines. It was not tested or improved other than that. If you played, and enjoyed Portal: Prelude, then this is worth playing. If you havent played the original mod, though, then I would recommend staying away from this.

Oh, and they also removed the Chemical Brothers track in the finale too, which sucks but is understandable as the song is copyrighted.

tl;dr - old mod shoved into the Portal RTX framework seemingly without any testing or improvements. play this if you played the original mod and enjoyed it
