This game is fun, I enjoy running around as a squirrel. I don't really like fetch quests so those bother me, squirrels are hard to find in a forest. I think I would really like a sandbox mode just to build and play. Even a survival mode would be a nice change from the fetch quests. This game is a cozy game winner in my opinion. I did live stream it and got a few viewers but this game wasn't advertised all that well. I had a good time and that is what playing a game is really about though.

Wow this game is terrible. It's not enjoyable at all, GTA is better even with the online community. Jimmy's girl April is a joke couldn't they have at least made her a person and not a drawing? The graphics kept messing up and I was driving through asphalt, the first intro race felt like I was driving the car ride at Disneyland, you know the one on the rails? Beyond garbage and I will be refunding this.

Can't stand the music in game.

I would have recommended this pre Age of War. Since that update my Thralls are vanishing, some fall into the foundations, they all open the gate to any enemy who might stroll by... I log in and I am stuck in a box. Luckily I have my own server and can admin teleport outside of said box. You might say it's the server needing a restart, if so then it must need one several times a day since I have restared the server every day I have played since the update. Then, there is the it's your PC theory, fine if it was just my PC doing that. Since that is not the case as my husband who is in a separate room on a different computer has the same issue. Okay then it's just your server, let's address that now. Another player in another state who plays on my server does not have that issue, he did initially but it has since sorted itself out. (he also experienced the bugged thralls to different degree). Oh and on another note, if it was my computer then my Epic copy of Conan would have the same issues. I can say I do not log into a box on that account. So since there is no clear cut answer or fix I can not recommend this game at this moment in time. I will considering a game change on my servers if no fixes are issued. After all I want to play my games, not play with them until they work and I am to worn out to enjoy playing them.

I enjoyed this game, but if you play with another person make sure that you can work together. It's too easy to mess up puzzles if more than one player is attempting it. It's a fun romp and I like the narration in the game (although I am probably one of the few). If you don't like the narration in the preview video then you will probably get annoyed with the game.

First I am giving this a recommend even though it doesn't support controllers. I like this game. I like the water world theme, not fond of the first island you land on. Food is scarce at first, that stands to reason. I find it challenging enough to keep playing. They are still updating the game so that's good since it's one of those Early Access titles. I hope things keep going. I really need to find a different island though. Dev's if you read this can you please add controller support?

Okay for the moment I will give this a recommend rating. I purchased this because of the few positive ratings I have seen and the fact they announced a revamp of the game. Don't get me wrong I see all the problems that players were reporting, I however see a game that has great potential and if the developers keep their word the money I paid will be well spent. There are massive bugs, and the very first thing the game tells you is that the main quest is broken, so with that in mind I started playing. The tutorial leaves a lot to be desired, the character walks so slow that I think I could out walk him and I am a reformed 30 year smoker with lung and heart issues plus physical limitations with my back and hips. So that said, don't try to win any races with this character. The menu for using tools and items is not self explanatory and I did note that the tutorial was inept to say the least. The character does tend to get stuck on rocks and the like and I am pretty sure even back in the Old West they knew how to bend their knees and pick up their feet. So you might ask why the recommend... I played for over an hour and was able to learn the controls find my way around and to be honest still have fun. I don't have any issues with having to use brain power to figure out how to play a game. I tried RDO and didn't have enough fun to keep trying it out, this I did. Keep in mind that my recommend is based on my personal opinion and that opinion is subject to change if the promised update never arrives. So with fingers crossed it is a recommend from me for now.
Okay update with the new version, currently I will keep my recommend rating although I am wavering. I put a few minutes into the game, not 2 hours like Steam states, only to find the controller support that is stated is awful and renders the game unplayable. I was however in the game long enough to realize the did improve one thing... Your character now moves a bit faster and that was enough to make it to a nearby campfire before freezing to death. I will watch for controller improvement and check again to see if I need to try this title another time.
Okay there has been ample time to fix the controller support. Steam still reads partial controller support, but I started the game went to settings and tried to select the controller configuration and nothing... couldn't even select it. This is too much effort to waste when there are so many other games out there with real partial controller support. I'm done now.

Unlike other reviewers I have played the game for over an hour, in this case almost two hours. This game is fun however there are some things that could be improved as in all games. Since there are no perfect games this is not a surprise. If you played the demo and enjoyed it then the game will not disappoint. Friar Tucks voice is grating to say the least, so far the other voices have not bothered at all. The graphics are very nice, the building is exactly what I expected after looking at the demo, the movements are the same as in the demo which is my second issue after Friar Tucks voice(which should tell you how grating that voice is because it tops my list of problems). The third person view does not bother me at all but there is an indefinable quality of the movements which tires the eyes. I would have loved to stay in the game longer and can usually play games for hours but this one I can't, which is probably healthier for me. I am going to enjoy the time I spend in this game very much. I hope there are more voices of reason that can give a considered review after spending more than a few minutes in the game. On one other note I did not follow the tutorial step by step and pretty much just did the tutorial while exploring the forest. In short I can recommend this game and will continue playing it, but if you are expecting perfection then I'm sorry this is not for you.

This could have been a good game, then Snail games bought it. That says all that needs saying. Save your money.

I hate the whole zombie survival theme that everyone seems to do. But I can't help but recommend this game as I have put in over 500 hours now. The fact that I am not forced to play the whole Bloodmoon aspect is a plus for me. I like to enjoy my games and don't want them to feel like a job. So kudos to the Devs for accomplishing that, it's also just fun to play with friends and you can put the game down for a while and still come back and have fun after a break. So by playing with your settings you can have the gameplay style that suits you rather than be locked into someone else's concept of fun. Worth the money I spent on my copy and the copies I gifted out as well.
