I've had this game for a while and I still love it, which can't be said for a lot of games.

Not only are the visuals aesthetially pleasing, they also fit the theme of the game really well. Every single time I play, I go through every single emotion imaginable. The way individual events play with your heart and how each character has their own storyline and what makes it even better is that at the end, it's not an immediate cut off; you're told what happens to them after the ceasefire. This game is one of the most dramatic, exciting and heart wrenching games on the market and is worth every penny.

Not only that, there's an additional DLC that you can buy which adds artwork to the game and the money goes to charity (you can also decide how much you spend, to a certain extent).

However, there are a few things that I would like to see improved in the future as I believe it was touched on but not competely developed. Each character has a certain personality, explained in their biography. When certain events happen, their biography is updated with how they feel about the situation that happened, for example, if you choose to kill an NPC for supplies, some don't care while others actually do. What bothers me is that even though certain characters aren't affected by these, they still become sad, depressed and broken, leaving them completely useless. I would expect a character that actually understands the concept of self defense and the fact that sometimes we must kill for supplies and even says that they understand it, to not become so depressed. Another thing is during the day, sometimes there are events in which a survivor has the choice to leave the base and help an NPC out. It would be nice to add another choice to go with them, perhaps for an extra reward where you can physically help them out, such as clearing rubble, fixing up a base, healing people etc. (You could see it as a minigame during the day).

All in all, I really recommend this game and I believe there is also room for improvement. If you're even thinking about it, buy it. You will not regret the decision and the replayability immense, with the difficulty changing every single time.
