I've never had so much fun getting my ass handed to me repeatedly. This game is clean-cut, fast paced, heart pounding combat to the max. The way the secrets of the gungeon gradually unfold had me constantly ready to dive right back in, even after some of the most heart wrenching deaths.

The turn based combat system with revealing your enemies intentions before you move really added such a brilliant layer to this game. The amount of times I've begun panicking and moving too quickly after seeing how I will subject myself to an attack (only to become careless and subject myself to a string of attacks that end my run) is too many haha!

The art is absolutely stunning and inspired me to start creating pixel graphics for my own game concepts. I was impressed by how even the most simple of idle animations would have me blown away at the artist's mastery. Kudos to all who were a part of this wonderful game!
