would love to play this game, and im sure its rlly good, if i didnt have to troubleshoot this ass launcher everytime i want to load it up

i will never understand why a company will sell a game on a launcher just to force u to use theirs aswell

my fix to the launcher issue was disable ANY antivirus u have, and also run the launcher as administrator. it shouldnt be this way, but it works

as for the game? yes it was rlly good. from what i assume from watching many rdr2 clips, this game is a lot less centred around character development, and more just dark and gritty.
9/10, not 10/10 because of the obvious clunkiness in a few things

game was alright, not bad, not great

ost? good, i liked a couple a lot

combat? dropkick... thats it

story? kinda mid closer towards the end

apart from the game feeling like quantity over quality, pretty decent

combat is decent apart from reguarding and laser beam focus so u cant give backshots

rgg somehow managed to go backwards and forwards with development of this game

it didnt rlly feel like the game finished at the final story fight, motives behind the boss's actions is terrible, but rlly nice theme

after 100 hrs:
- still silver
- bad
- skin = skill (cope for financial crisis)
- still havent encountered a cheater
- cursed out in russian a few dozen times

did i enjoy it?
no
if i wanted to use brawler and beast, i would play yakuza 0. the new moves do not make the styles feel fresh, while useful, do not add much to the overall experience.

is the ost still good?
yes
neon sunset is fire

is it worth the price?
hell no
30 bucks for side content? nuh uh, just buy another game for that price, or wait for a sale... even then i don't recommend the price

after a break and some thought

this game really isnt all that replayable:
- the "randomly" generated cave systems end up feeling very samey
- once u get a meta overclock, u basically win the game, nothing else u really have to grind for anymore
- many of the assignments take a good hour or 2 of gameplay just to complete
- lack of meaningful content updates
- community is a lot more toxic than what the fanbase makes it out to be (not wholesome chungus 100)
- battle passes are EXTREMELY grindy

the upsides:
- no FOMO
- lootbugs
- decent with friends
- character customization

pretty good game outside of the ass community
