Time to write a review after playing 400+ hours of immersing myself in galactic domination.

Stellaris is a strategy game that is scaled in a single galaxy. I initially had doubts on having this game until I watched a friend of mine play it. When I started to play, I seem to have failed to recognize that I have been playing this for several hours. Players get to choose their playstyle through governing ethics and civics which are predefined by the game.

Pros:
- Art concepts for different species, city design, and ship design are dynamic.
- Anomalies with probabilities make your gameplay nonlinear.
- Game can be continued even if the endgame crisis has been defeated.
- DLC is worth adding to the game. More dynamic story packs which somehow reduces the linearity and boredom from predefined story packs.
- Customizable galaxy style, difficulty scaling, and AI agressiveness.
- Awesome soundtrack. Makes you really feel like you are in space.

Cons:
- Governing ethics and civics may need to be more dynamic.
- Some DLC's may not be worth the price. Wait for a sale to pass.
- FPS drops occur during large-scale battles (probably inevitable).
- Some minor graphical errors (such as enlarged icons in planet modifiers, etc.)
- AI needs some rework

Overall score: 9/10, would purge the galaxy of alien life and federation builders again and again.
