A massive franchise in 2021 and still have these issues:
- Optimized only for 60 FPS and cut scene stuck in 30 FPS, using more FPS broke the game
- Single player campaign require internet connection (also means it will be unplayable once the end of life is reached, which is pretty short with only 3 years)
- Only small improvement to the overall experience compared to 2K17
- All of this is noticeable with only ~2 hours of gameplay

My GF that isn't a gamer at all is very satisfied with this game,
It's simple, great immersion, intuitive details that very helpful during the playthrough.

People may see this as too simple for a game but I see this as a breather from over-saturated market of complex game out there. For the majority of the gamer, my suggestion is to just buy at big discount or watch someone else playthrough.

- Cannot play house rules or volta with friends (with a default club/squad)
- Graphics is ugly (on one side, it's easy to run)

No regret, gentleman move by KONAMI. Admitting it was the same with PES 2020 and sell it with halved price.

Summary:
If you are a casual gamer looking for racing game, you should be very satisfied with this game

pros:
- Credit (cash in game currency) can be obtained without spending any real money
- Some Season pass item still can be obtained with bucks (common in game currency)
- Reliving old Midnight Club 3 on Playstation 2, car and bike racing together
- Many fun game mode like boat racing, plane racing, monster truck freestyle, demolition derby, moto cross, F1
- Love the Community Made livery feature
- Lots of modification option (Not as many as Midnight Club 3 or NFS:Carbon though)

cons:
- Pause while single player racing, when you unpause it start while loading animation still exists
- Touring Car Discipline event only on short circuit, should add another event on longer route
- Sometime connection issues happened while racing and sometime also cannot join your friend's invitation
- Back on track feature not doing so well when playing rally raid which the track itself is not defined, it teleports you too far behind
- FPS capped at 60
- Countdown when starting a race made HUD's appearance late
- Props render distance not consistent, ex: sometime traffic shows up too close to you while speeding

This review is done after 1 full season of Master League (I mainly play Master League and Local Coop Match)

Summary:
Recommended, the feel of the game and the animation is way better than FIFA IMO (i play both FIFA 18 and FIFA 19)

Pros:
- Gameplay is very good/realistic, animation were outstanding, and no random glitches so far
- Less physical contact allowed than FIFA (FIFA body contact was like NFL), heading was less effective as well except on a clear opportunity
- Developing Player in Master League is very good, you can add trait, training is very flexible, and change their playstyle to suit your game plan
- Team Role in Master League is good, giving a veteran player more valueable than before.
- Editing player number in Master League is very easy

Cons:
- Goalkeeper reaction was slow if chaotic condition happened in front of the goal
- Difficult to change player when a lose ball happened (generally on offense when a missed pass occured)
- Managing player in master league is quite confusing, because it has so many sub menu for player management
- Commentary is more or less the same since PES 2016
- Dynamic Cutscene without audio, really bad
- Master League do not track player's attribute growth in detail
- Cannot play in offline mode
