The game is fun, offline coop/pvp is great fun.

I did try the online coop, and hooo boy, lag and desync are awful despite so little physical entities being around. There are also weird technical issues like game refusing to quit, forcing me to restart Steam to relaunch the game and pumping artificial gameplay time up, or framerate capping when joining online coop.

I cannot recommend the game at this state - but I do hope to see some of this stuff fixed.

SImple arcadey isometric combat racing game, combined with physics engine allowing you to pull off some crazy stunts, dodges and crashes. Can get pretty hectic if you can get at least 3 blokes to play with you. Got myself Switch version too, I wish PC version matched the balancing/content from that one (and possibly other console ports)

Early Access Review
Tried this one, being a fan of the board game. Promising concept, pretty engaging experience, had some fun with friends, but the performance tried it's very best to ruin it for me. I can't recommend it at this stage, but will happily switch my thumb up once it gets patched up.

Itorah is a pretty solid platformer with very minor metroidvania elements, set in an open world, however there's little reason to backtrack, other than singular collectibles. Difficulty is a bit on an easy side, while some parts gave me trouble, I haven't died once in my first playthrough. There's no difficulty options, nor there's much to explore, really, so the replayability is pretty limited, achievements being the only real reason to try again. Platforming can be a bit slippery, at times I didn't feel in control, making the tighter platforming sections a bit more annoying. When it comes to platforming sections themselves, if you played Captain Claw, you will feel right at home - moving platforms, sequences of disappearing platforms, projectile traps, so on...

Game is a bit buggy at times - charging bull enemies can hit you after their death, you can go out of bounds in certain spots, using air dash and air up swing at once sends you flying, potentially great for speedruns I guess.

Combat could use more fleshing out, your moveset expands a bit with gameplay, but more moves could help make fighting through monsters more engaging. Some of the moves are bit finnicky, for instance axe throw is messy, it's hitbox against background is weird, and there's always the prayer factor - you kinda have to count on Itorah throwing it just right to send it flying in desired trajectory, which isn't the case at time, so you pray. Thrown axe takes majority of your other unlocked moves away until it returns, getting it back stops you for a split second, so if you miss, or when Itorah gets it back, you can expose yourself to potshots.

Audiovisuals are great - love the music, sound effects are fine. The graphics however are a highlight, vibrant colors, each location looks different and pretty in it's own way. Sometimes game forgets you're playing on 16:9 screen, or some other ratio, and you can spot the missing backgrounds and seams here and there.

Despite it's flaws and jank, Itorah all in all is still a pretty solid title, and I can recommend it.

Early Access Review
Huge fun potential, impeded by awful controls, really wish there was a way to map movement to sticks and make myself slide around the room rather than using messy teleport

Early Access Review
I play it every now and then, and treat it a bit like a board game, rather than a video game, and overall I'd say I've enjoyed it so far. This is definitely one of those games that should not be played intensively, otherwise you'll grow weary of it, and game's routine and repetitiveness will become very apparent.
There are bugs and there are issues, usual stuff of majority of Early Access titles, but apart from a couple of disconnects and one time where one teammate got permanently stuck in a furniture, the rest was minor and didn't break the game completely.
The game allows crossplay between desktop and VR players, but I definitely favor playing the game in VR mode over desktop, even if the game doesn't perform well on my aging laptop.

VR does a lot for the game's overall feel and immersion, and there are notable gameplay differences between VR and desktop modes. I mostly play in VR, but I've let my friends, more seasoned with desktop mode, play a bit in VR, and they were surprised how different (and amazing, too!) the game feels.

For example: I personally feel the inventory is much more convenient to use and manage in VR mode, you don't scroll through items, you just take and put them in your belt, you also have two hands, meaning you can carry up to four items, as opposed to desktop's three items limit. This costs you an ability to open doors, so you can either ask someone to open them for you, drop the item and open them yourself, or you can act as a mule who brings the stuff in while others scan the rooms. It's also much more intuitive and natural because there is no GUI or HUD ingame, you might forget what items are in which slot when things get stressy. Also your friends can see floating items that you hold while you're dead.

Another example would be brightness. One of friends claims that the game is brighter in desktop mode, and that she can literally stroll around the location without a flashlight with no trouble. However in VR mode, game appears darker, so you need to either use light sources, or stay close to walls to navigate your way. I'm not sure if it's intended or if it's just my cheapo VR set being cheapo VR set, but it does improve the atmosphere of an abandoned, haunted property.
Since she's afraid of the dark, she was scared senseless and couldn't even finish tutorial, even though she knew the ghost would not attack.

Overall, this is a very promising project. Once it's a bit more optimized (map loading times especially), and has some more content added (not only maps/ghosts, and perhaps some additions or mutators to the formula to give each ghosthunting a twist), this game has a fair chance to be one of the must-play games on VR.

Possibly the only game where you can drown yourself in a pool filled with a mixture of your own blood and vomit.
10/10 would encounter a suicidal freak with a nuke wand again.

After all those long years, this is hands down still the best entry in the entire, long going Worms series. They have tried countless times, and they will likely try countless of times more, but they never really got nowhere near the level of funsauce and charm this game reached, and it's unlikely they ever will.
Now comes with a latest 3.8 patch that adds even more functionality to spice the game up, or tune it to suit your needs and quirks, all while bringing the good ol' Rubberworm's options back from dead.
