- non-stop crashing
- blackscreen if you turn on HDR in settings for whatever reason
- not much longevity to the game considering theres only 1 map with semi-random structures on top and a timer pushing you to rush through the game (which is really difficult to do when you constantly crash and lose both your souls and lvls in the process)

the game is a lot of fun,

unfortunately it constantly crashes in singleplayer, and desyncs in multiplayer, until those are fixed ill leave it on red

theres also the DLC issues all paradox games share: outrageous prices and locking game defining mechanics behind payed dlc

As much as i would like to recommend the game, i simply cant do so with the many problems PoE 2 has currently.
Having sinked thousands of hours into PoE 1, i can safely say PoE 2 is so far from the successful formular they have in PoE 1, it is to the point where its questionable to even call them similar games.
PoE 2's gameplay loop, pacing, skills and end-game content are all unsatisfying and lacking in all areas. its slow and boring

The game is in early access, and by all means thats fine, but they have opened it up to the public wayyyyyyyy too early considering the lackluster amount of usable skills and general content.

well its nowhere to be seen in the current game

Theres also the issue of the lead game designer having the delusion that people want EVEN SLOWER gameplay and that all the great and well-loved core mechanics of the first game (like the crafting bench) ruins the game. i guess we should all just adhere to "his vision"

Anyway i dont recommend the game, its a husk of what was promised and what it can be, hopefully I get to change this review to something more positive in the future, but for now, it stays red

fun little game to play with friends a bit

10/10 haven't felt this addicted to a game in a VERY long time

Went into this with pretty low standards considering i know all too well how money hungry paradox likes to be with their HoI4 DLCs. yet im still amazed at how disapointing it is to see that half of the countries in CK2 is unplayable and LOCKED behind 15$+ DLCs forcing you to waste your money on something that should be a basic part of the game.

For those who are wondering, i just wanted to play Denmark because im Danish but apparently I have to spend 15$ extra on dlc just to do that, needless to say, im not doing that and would refund the game if i didnt get it for free

Bought this for a friend so we could play together, now i have several hundred hours and he has 1...

If you have friends, this is a great game to play with them.
If you don't have any friends, this is a great game to play alone.
If you don't have the game to play, get the money for it.
If you don't have the money for it, get a job.
If you don't have a job, rob the bank.
If you get arrested robbing the bank, at least you tried.
