It's the kinda game you play for 30 minutes, get overwhelmed, comeback half a year later and become hopelessly addicted to. THE FACTORY MUST EXPAND ACROSS THE STARS.

M&B Bannerlord is an excellent sequel to the all time great, M&B Warband. Taking place in a fractured Calradia where warring Imperial factions, and outside aggressors, vie for control of the Empire. The player is able to explore nigh any character path, from a lowly looter to the Emperor of Calradia. There's a lot of content to be hard here, and most of it is rewarding. From raiding villages to insane pitch battles, combat and military actions feel very rewarding. The melee and ranged systems iterate on Warband's well, while remaining true to classic M&B combat. While there is a minor lack of activities for all character-paths at the moment, this has been improving with every update. AI presents many issues as well. When being part of an AI army, they often repeat movements, and cancel even sieges for no reason. These AI issues can be quite infuriating at times, but it has gotten better as time has progressed. I'm confident that the developers can continue their momentum and produce an amazing product by full release.

Despite not being a fully new experience, Rome Remastered achieves the feeling, play style, and the fun of Rome Total War, Original. If you were expecting a classic game updated for modern hardware and graphics, Rome Remastered is the game for you.

In terms of gameplay and authenticity to the Ancient World, Rome Remastered does well and continues the themes of Rome 1. If you're coming into this looking for an authentic Antiquity warfare experience, I'd recommend Rome 2 with the Divide et Impera mods over this, however, Rome Remastered nails the classic Total War ambiance, experience, and units. In addition, in terms of visuals, Rome Remastered with the "Realistic" unit option does an excellent job of representing the units of Antiquity in a true to life form.

Some people may say that the game is just the same old Rome and not enough was done to it, but this is exactly what I wanted from a Remaster of my favorite game. I'm glad they kept the scope of the project to revitalizing the game and modernizing it, avoiding the pitfall of a far too ambitious remake instead of remaster.

If you loved the original Rome Total War, then this remaster is for you. If you're expecting a brand new game, this is not for you, and would not be a remaster if it were so.

While still in Early Access, UBOAT's development team have listened to community feedback and are consistently updating and adding more to the game. The game itself is very enjoyable, being the best sub-sim type of game I've played. This truly shows during hunting and combat encounters, being able to take on any convoy or warships in the manner you choose. Embodying the feeling of being a real U-Boat Kapitan, UBOAT is an awesome game that I'd recommend.
