Just as good if not better than the first game. My friend and I take turns playing full runs of this game over the course of several hours and it's always a blast. We did the same thing for the first game and this time is just as good. New enemies, boons, areas, lore/characters, and more. Love this game. Get it even if it's not on sale it's that good.

only time I ever enjoyed playing a MOBA like game.

I've been looking forward to this game ever since they announced it. NMRiH was one of the first games I ever played on Steam so it's almost like revisiting my younger years with a new version of this game.

At launch, this game was, respectfully... awful. -Extremely buggy -Horrible performance (yes, even on higher end pc's) -EXTREMELY repetitive and much more. They dropped some sort of server fix update if I remember correctly and it did next to nothing to sort out any of the issues most of us were having.

This game has some potential... I would love to see them put together a really solid game out of this but I fear it's not going to end well for them. From what I've seen no one plays this game at the moment and I have a hard time believing people are going to put up with this anymore.

With that said, I absolutely do NOT recommend anyone to buy this game in it's current state. I will probably continue to play it periodically when they release patches so that when or if the time comes, I can change my review. I would also like to add this message for all the game dev's and publishers out there if for whatever reason they ever see this...

STOP. RELEASING. HALF. ASS. GAMES. Stop putting these games out there as a buggy mess. Hire and pay actual beta testers to extensively play these games before they appear on my store page so that when the time comes people aren't wasting their money. This is a massive problem in the games industry right now and is seemingly trendy for these games companies to get a quick buck.

Without trying to be dramatic, I'm not the type of person to type out these long messy reviews for games BUT... it's gotten to the point where I feel like we all need to say something or else nothing is ever going to change. I apologize for the ugly mountainous paragraph that no one will read. Just wanted to put my thoughts out there even if only the dev's see this.

TLDR:
- fix the damn game
- STOP releasing half ass game's that die within a week

easily one of my favorite games ever

Can't believe it's been 10 years since this game came out... It's still one of the greatest horror games ever made. If you haven't played this game for yourself yet, do it. Always fun to revisit around Halloween. Genuine 10/10.
