Yes, there are bugs.
Yes, there are crashes,
Yes, there are matchmaking/server issues,
This game is still incredibly fun, especially with your homies. Lots of goofy teamkills, crazy cinematic fights, and of course plenty of explosions. The core gameplay is very solid and even though there comes to be some repetition, the moment to moment gameplay can always feel fresh and exciting. Gorgeous alien worlds, and 2 enemies that are so different it almost feels like a different game.
For my first day I fought the bugs for a while, my team and I got confident, and we swapped fronts to fight the clankers.
One of my new favorite moments in gaming was what followed, which was my all of us getting murdered by robots with chainsaw arms and tanks. Even losing can be fun when you are laughing so hard you can't breath.
If you enjoy being a hero, join the Helldivers. Fight for Super Earth. The bugs (digital) and network problems will come to an end and the game will only get better.
