Wanderstop is a game that stays in your headspace for a long time after you finish it. It has a specific theme and message it's trying to push that I think is really important given the constant need to stay busy and productive many people (at least in my experience) feel. It's a game about thought, consideration, acceptance, and self-love.

It's definitely not for everyone, though. Its relatively short run time, (you could probably beat it in 4-5 hours if you were in a hurry) repetitive gameplay loop, and slow pace don't do a great job at justifying its price at face value. I'd recommend treating it more like a book than a game - take the time to really listen to and think about all the dialogue while putting yourself in the shoes of the character rather than being super completionist or efficient about the tasks you are given. If you have the patience to do those things, I'd bet that you'll find yourself in a better place after finishing Wanderstop than you were in before you started.

Valve has addressed the bot issue along with recently rolling back them disabling free-to-play players from using chat functions. Kudos!

Now that Sony has backed down,

I can say that this game is some of the most fun I have had in YEARS, definitely a landmark for co-op shooters. 10/10.

This review is a warning.

Baldur's Gate 3 has consumed my life. I have done nothing but play this game for the past five days. My goldfish died, my wife left and took the kids, and the feds came to repo my car.

10/10

Indie Horror at its ABSOLUTE finest. I'd highly recommend this game if you're into any sort of retro or analog horror aesthetic, as it is the pinnacle of pixelated horror. Easily one of my new favorite games, looking forward to getting all the achievements!

Control is easily one of my favorite games of all time. Its story, environments, and even gameplay are just the right amount of weird that suck you in and make you wish you could re-experience it all once you're done. The fantastic story and visuals are backed up by very solid third-person shooter gameplay that's really fun in its own right. Would definitely recommend this to any fans of third person shooters, especially those who like weird, creepy stories such as the SCP Foundation and creepypasta.
This games's a wild ride from start to finish, and easily is a 10/10 in my book.

Astroneer is a Singleplayer and Multiplayer experience that will not leave my Most Time Played list anytime soon. Astroneer's blend of survival mechanics, crafting, resource gathering, exploration, and rock-solid multiplayer co-op make for a hugely wonderful gameplay experience. My favorite part of this game by far is the soundtrack, which goes on par with games like The Legend of Zelda by establishing perfect moods for the abstract environments. The retro graphics are something I can see people complaining about, but I personally enjoy them. It certainly adds to the weird, sci-fi theme the game has going for it.

However, Astroneer is not without its flaws. The game can sometimes be glitchy and buggy with terrain, leading to some sudden fps drops or even problems like clipping through the world. Coupled with this, death is punishing in Astroneer, since all of your resources stay on your dead body, and you have to decide whether to make the long, dangerous journey to go back in get it or let go of the items. The game mostly fixes this problem, however, with the abundant resources found on the planets as well as the easy-to-understand crafting system.

Overall, Astroneer is a gem of a game, as it is immensely enjoyable as a calm, charming experience in singleplayer and a hilarious and fun, sometimes chaotic experience in multiplayer co-op. I give it a 8.5/10.

This is one of the greatest survival games EVER. The lore, the gameplay, down to the graphics even. This is a masterpiece of game design and pure creativity. I would reccomend this game to anyone who loves being immersed into a world so much different then their own, and doesn't mind getting scared out of their wits every once in a while.

(spoiler free review) Absolutely Stunning. This game will take you on an emotional roller coaster like no other will. The choices, the deep impact you make on the characters, it all is something that a story-based RPG absolutely needs. This game will grasp you and suck you into its world of lighthearted characters yet dark themes. Definitely for someone who loves a good, undertale-like, story based RPG.
