Literally a masterpiece. I don't care if it's buggy.
This is a TRUE rpg, depth, choices, things mainstream games in this vein claim to do but only dip their toes into this game embraces full front and center. The only warning I will give is that it is buggy and it is intimidating. This isn't power fantasy, it's a historical immersion simulator, the sort of game that knocks down your disposition if you haven't bathed in a while. You can't just solo a group of bandits at level 1, you need to work for that and train. Leveling isn't all of it, you need to learn the combat system, buy yourself some decent armor, find you can't then live like the dirty peasant you are because, as it turns out, good equipment is expensive, hard to maintain, and hard to come by. It's great. It's a demonstration of how much better certain games from a certain company could be if they spent a little more time on the details. Easy recommend.

It's a platformer with a heavy focus on gunplay ala Rachet and Clank, filled with lovely refreneces to games, movies and so on new and old. Easily my number 1 most underrated game right now. I'd say the current package is already well worth the price even in its unfinished state. If you can fondly remember the platformers of the Playstation/Nintendo 64 era this game was made for you. They really don't make them like this anymore. Someday Onirism will start getting attention, there is simply too much love in this game for it not to be noticed eventually.

Buy it, no really, buy it. It's already easily worth more than its price.

I don't typically read visual novels but for the reputation this door stopper has I made an exception. This was...a journey. I was shedding tears in the end. Years ago I made the mistake of watching the anime and I remember thinking "Jesus, this is nothing compared to Higurashi." Lucky for me how forgettable the anime was allowed me to forgot every plot point and word-of-mouth encouraged me to check this out. It's better than Higurashi and I didn't think that would even be possible. I don't care that it took me 6 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ months to get through it was worth it. Sleep peacefully, my beloved witch, Beatrice.

10/10 would soda again
