Sadly still an overprices DLC, but overall what I realy like here, its a race with lots of mechanics, and to be honest, especially personaly to me that matters more than the number characters. I hope in the end all races will have such deph in terms of mechanics... would make the game a lot better. Lordpacks with great mechanics would be very nice to have, still what I fear is that a lot of mechanics might also annoy me or are kinda boring, I rather like complex ressources and such things which actualy makes the game harder than just random gifts, events or quests which in the end make the game even a lot easier.

Overall I rather like this DLC than not, mechanics are pretty nice and complex, roster is good.
I dislike the insane limit of unit cap, I was never a fan of that, cause other races are not limited, and I prefer playing with hard AI mods which makes CHD unplayable there, luckily I can mod myself those issues but yea. I also rather have those complex mechanics than another Lord and especially than more LHs. I bought DLCs I rather did not like in terms of mechanics Lords and whatever, so actualy here I rather get what I want so the money at least feels kinda worth spend, many others DLCs have been like well like some dislike quiet a lot, so well in the end... what I got for the money didnt feel that great.

I understand that many ppl give negative reviews here, to make a sign against raising prices, but only negative reviews is kinda not what the DLC deserves. As I said in the end we have to consider we want another Lord or a good race with complex mechanics prob and I would rather go with 3 Lords and more mechanics, tho rather a 4th Lord than a LH. It would be great to get Legenday Heroes packs for that maybe.

Reason why I made this Review:
I dont post reviews usualy at all, only when I think it is realy necessary. I think it is here, you have to consider what message you send and many reviews sound at least partly like: I want 4 Lords to all cost, in terms of content this dlc goes the right direction I would say. Imagine we would have gotten 4 Lords but mechanics like some Warhammer 1 race like the dwarfs (many ppl also complain about reused mechanics, but I rather have good reused modified mechanics than bad ones or none at all). Lords is something you can always fix, maybe at some point we get a FLC or a Lord Pack, but no matter what, no Lord Packs will bring up that many mechanics (and as I already mentioned, for me good mechanics increasing complexity matter more). It is still ok to give some negative reviews about the price, but I would say helpfull to add that the content of the DLC is not poorly done. Overall, we also have to consider that to many negative reviews might cut future content at some point and thats maybe not what you want.

Also dont forget, we got a lot Quality of Life changes recently, in terms of visuals or whatever this new searching methode, map changes... yes those are all for free, but it doesent mean that it didnt cost any money. Thats why DLCs can be allowed to be "kinda" costly compared to the basegame. Its the ppl who buy the DLCs that fund those free updates (especially in the long run) and by that its them who pay for free updates for everyone, yet the others profit a lot from the DLCs cause its CA and not Paradox. Overall since Immortal Empires was released we got a lot of improvements and kinda from the time this DLC took and so on, I would guess that all that has been a lot more costly than also CA expected, this might be one of the reasons for the cost increase so far aswell.
