Sam & Max instantly became one of my favorite games around 1 hour of playtime. Every interaction, song, joke and moment is filled with so much care, attention, heart and soul. What an amazing game.

I dont think i could think of a single issue in the game if i tried.

Will never play again unless they add these three things:

Gun to execute teammates for constantly feeding me green fruit
Zyns
50 player multiplayer

you cant core tibet as west taiwan 0/10 dlc hope paradox gets sent anthrax and mail bombs for this slight against the glorious West Taiwanese state...

continue until computer cant run save or the crippling inefficiency of my "factory" results in the the entire thing ceasing to function with no hope of being able to salvage the metal hell running on a jury rigged combination mixture of unprocessed plant matter and crude oil

result: 3 reinforced steel beams, 5 copper sheets and 80 thousand units of plutonium waste per hour to be dumped directly into the ocean never to be seen again

10/10 game worth every cent.

I wish nothing more or less than death to finally rid me of the blight that is being visually molested by this piece of what I would call terrorware. This game has nothing to do with cowboys or indians or whatever nonsense wile coyote tomfoolery that occurred in the wild lands past gods gifted wall against barbarism and stupid inbred ♥♥♥ mudsuckers known as the Mississippi river. This game's only purpose is to deliver visual and mental pain upon its player base. Rockshit probably got paid off by the feds to inflict this form of internet terrorism inorder to give the suicide hotline a reason to exist beyond trans people (feds) and desert storm vets(ex feds). This game might just be the cannonball that sinks western civilization itself, and result in millions dying off. On one hand, it represents a terrible storm of villianly that will never be eclipsed (except maybe the state of israel) out of its sheer totality and its war of annihilation it wages upon the senses. On the other hand, this game represents nothing but the greatest act of gross negligence by any organization, institution or state (except maybe the state of israel) upon mankind. I recomend the goverment to use this malware as a method of extermination of all undesriables (the UN, New Jersey, the poor, the police, etc etc)

I strongly urge you using your limited time on our earth and legal tender to pursue other, more reasonable games, like Sex with Hitler, or maybe Destiny 2’s DLC.

The combat feels both fluid yet skillful. The story is top tier, moving and beautiful. The characters are amazing and i loved doing the side quests to learn more about the world The boss fights are also amazing. 100% a must play game.

And 2B is hot.

But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 9s hacking gimmick is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and i hate it so much.

This is THE social deduction game, in all its glory. Its not mundanely simple like Among Us, or requires pouring over rules and roles & regulations like Town of Salem. Its not even about massacring as many people as possible or using the moves given to you in a planned and specific manner. It is about how you carry yourself, and balancing it. It makes every round unpredictable and more fun than the last. I played this game before even Mello was added, and just the dynamic of L and Kira is enough for me. As both of these roles, you cant keep to yourself, but you also cant be constantly following people. You cant be the loudest and brightest mind in the room, but you cant sit in silence for the entire game. Each of these ranges extremes is usually proof that you are one or the other, and both roles need to stay in the middle. These ranges change and vary based on even who your playing with. Some lobbies are fine with just staying quiet, others are dogmatic in hunting down every player who is seen to be "alone" even for a moment. You need to be dynamic. You need to be flexible. You always must adapt in your social interactions, (and deception) , as BOTH of these roles, not just as the killer. Every game will be different. Every Kira will be a different monster. Every L will be a different hero. And every Mello will change how both play the game.

You may now be asking, why i would NOT recommend this game? The truth is that this review has been positive for a long time, However there are many reasons why i would not recommend this game to anyone. While i still stand by the fact that this is the greatest social deduction game of all time, there are many factors that have prevented me from enjoying the game for a while. They have been excellent at adding new interesting roles, however there is an ENDLESS horde of cheaters. This isnt even that big of an issue outside of the BIG TWO REASONS why i cant play the game on PC

If ONE player blocks you, and is in one of the two lobbies at any time (because the game is dying because of the cheaters) You cant join the lobby. I had to get a STEAM ID SPOOFER to play the game at a certain point. because people will block you for the most mundane reasons. Including being a PC player.

console player LOVE kicking PC players when they join. No discretion, no tests. Instant kick. This wouldn't be that big of an issue, but there are usually only two servers, they usually block you afterwards.

These two things make the game IMPOSSIBLE to play on pc at certain points. for the rare occasions that i do come back to the game, I HAVE TO INSTALL ACTUAL CHEATS to SPOOF MY STEAM ID. If you get blocked by maybe one or two players who play the game often, YOU NEED THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE. This could be easily solved with a rudimentary anti cheat but of course not. The game will slowly die. The only reason why i haven't made this a negative review is becouse the game is amazing. The bar for entry however is owning a playstation or using cheats.

This is still the best social deduction game, and the best death note game. If you can find lobbies, you wont be disapointed. Buy the game on sale
