Detention isn't your traditional horror story filled with jumpscares. It is subtle, and it is sad. You face the horror of your inner demons. What sets the game apart from others is how inescapable the conclusion of the game is. The journey to redemption is bittersweet.

This is only episode one. Home Sweet Home is based on Thai myths with Thai horror settings, You wake up somewhere that is not your house and you are hunted by a female spirit. You need to be stealthy and solve puzzles. Your goal is to escape, as well as to find your pain-in-the-butt wife.

While I don't think this game was absolutely terrifying, it did have jumpscares and I really enjoyed streaming it.

8/10, would threaten to divorce wife again.
