I haven't played since Civ III and I expected to be underwhelmed with new features and overwhelmed with the gameplay: not so. This had some fun new ideas, the core structures I loved are still there and many have improved, and even though I don't care about the big avatars of talking leaders so much, I felt like I could dive right back into this game after a very long time. Kudos.
