Really solid game with very active developers. There is nothing even close to this of the same genre on the market right now in terms of polish.

I have 200 hours on anet client. Good game for PvE I guess, horrible for PvP players. Horrendous balancing, extremely poor matchmaker, and the community is very unskilled and whiny. The core systems and gameplay could be great if not for the most unfun mechanics being the most overpowered. It's pretty much impossible to have fun playing ranked. I'd rather play Dota 2 than this, and that says a lot.

A really good mix of roguelite, position-based tactics, rpg and resource management strategy genres. You have to plan your moves at every stage of the game, and it feels very rewarding when your plans come together for you to survive another night.

It's slower than other roguelites like Slay the Spire or Monster Train, so if you don't like spending 3-4 hours on a run that might be a turn-off for you. So far that's the only con I can think of.

Don't listen to people who whine about the game being too hard in the comments, it's perfectly possible to beat the first maps with no unlocks if you play it smart and get a little lucky. I got to the boss on my first run and beat it on the second with ease. Little to no unlocks since I spent most of the unlock currency on a pretty expensive upgrade that only works at the start of the next run when unlocked, only unlocking it during the second run.

I'll probably update this later once I have more hours in the game, so far I'd say it's well worth the price.

Plays more like a cookie-clicker game rather than a rogue-like. Sort of addicting but very plain and boring when you reflect on it. If you're looking for a deck-building or rogue-like RPG experience - do not buy.

What seems like a very cool pixel-based physics simulation sandbox at first will turn into an extremely deep rogue-lite game with a huge world to explore at every run. The perfect technological implementation and what the game is capable of as a result is also very impressive.
