Spent plenty of time in their character customization as it was quite nice and while missing any interesting hair colors (hair dyes, plz plz plz) it was rather robust and had plenty enough to give me nearly too much time to toy with making my character my own. Height slider is awesome.

The downside is after stumbling out of the creator I had to scoot and do the daily life stuff and when I came back, booted up the game and went to jump back in I was greeted with "Server overloaded, queue position 141, est time 5 minutes 11 seconds". This just will not do. I couldn't even get into the same server as all my friends are on, and now I can't even toy around in the tutorial? Thankfully it's a free game and I hope they have some kind of plan on how to make it so people can actually play alongside their friends more easily. Or get into the game without having a five minute wait timer.

Not recommending this as it is, wish there was a "meh" option.

I've been enjoying the game and I feel there's more than a few things that really, really shouldn't even have existed as a problem within the game. Why aren't you able to just swap character across servers? You can literally traverse separate "worlds" within a server, example: Manibus PVE01-00040, World 9. You can then go to a teleportation point and then choose "World 6". The fact you can't move character from server to server seems completely foolish.

The next major issue is one that should NEVER have happened in any manner of MMO game. Locking my purchases to the specific server I was playing at the time? What's that? Did you jump on a cosmetic outfit because you really enjoy the look? Or maybe you mix-and-match to have a unique look all your own! Well, too bad, if you decide to leave your server and make a new character to join your friends you will find yourself bereft of all purchases made on different servers - on top of seasonal progress is ALSO linked to the server you played on. Why is this design even a thing? Who let this get beyond product review or playtesting? This is basic nonsense that should NEVER have been an issue.

But - what about the gameplay? Is it fun? Is it challenging? It can be. I'm an absolute fool for open-world exploration. I love finding interesting things and discovering hidden details. The game has a decent loop for this as each area has hidden chests and mini-objectives for each point of interest. Gunplay can feel sluggish at times, weapon-swapping hitches in high intensity situations, movement is alright. The grind isn't atrocious and building stuff isn't too bad. They took plenty of notes on making it easy to jump into and yet a deep end for people looking to make their dream mansions.

Do I recommend this game? No. Not without people educating themselves extensively on what needs to be fixed. I hope they do remedy these things. I want to be able to play with my friends without completely restarting all my progress. I want my cosmetics and battle pass to carry over as well. These two things are crucial to my enjoyment and thus I can't recommend the game until these issues are fixed.
