Allright, at first I have to mention one thing: I am a big fan of BG 2 and it is still my most beloved RPG ever. The Enhanced Edition used to be pretty good: some good upgrades, better graphics, changes to make the gameplay more comfortable. It was ok and I liked it. I'd rate BG2: EE 9+/10 back then.
However, everything good must come to the end in some point. For this game, the point was 2.0 update. I've run the game and I couldn't recognize it. What have you done to my favourite RPG, Beamdog?! What the heck is this abomination? Deafult spell autocast, tips popping up everywhere, highlighting the map so you know where you can go (WTF), health bars, completely demolished journal... What is this? Baldur's Gate 2: Version for people with Paramecium caudatum IQ? Are you f****n' kiddin' me?! You, Beamdog, have completely ripped of the good old spirit, the soul of this brilliant game. That's a thing I can never forgive you. Shame on you. Give my beloved BG back, you disgustig thieves.

Until there's no possibility to go back to the previous version of the game, it isn't worth playing. Sorry. I think I better go to my shelf, take the old CD version of Baldur's Gate 2 and install it, so I can save at least few of my nerve cells.

A little PS: of course some of those annoying things can be disabled in the options menu, yes. And yes, I know about that possibility. But still: you can't do it with the all bad things Beamdog has done to this game. Plus: it's just the fact itself that annoys me the most: why the hell spell autocast, autoattack, automatic trap finding etc. is set as DEAFULT? It's just like Beamdog saying: "We think that most of the players are r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d by deafult, so we set all those options on in advance; they can of course disable them later, if they figure out that they aren't r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d at all." Still, even if you make a massive disabling in the options, the game won't be that good as it was before 2.0 patch. Thank you. The end.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. Almost everything here is good: beautiful, living, overwhelming Liberty City (a.k.a. New York), memorable characters, a lot of vehicles, interesting places to visit, missions and activities... And the most important: plot. It's like a great gangster movie - but even better, cause YOU are the one who writes the scenario. There are also some plot twists and moments when you decide whose life will be spared and who will die. And those decisions will have an influence in the future. The only things I missed in GTA IV are some elements introduced in GTA VC and SA like buying properties, more girls to date or driving Phantom with trailer.
No matter if you're into GTA series or not - this is a game that truly deserves to be played.

This game has light, humoristic approach to fantasy, nice comic graphics, music and requires some strategic thinking - unfortunately only a little, because it's very unpredictable. The aspect of randomness is quite big - sometimes you complete a dungeon run very easy, sometimes you're wiped out at the very beginning of the same dungeon. The game still can be enjoyable, however after some amount of time it becomes frustrating and boring.

Pros:
- dark, thrilling atmosphere
- atmospheric quotes
- interesting storyline
- it's quite fun to play
- it has it's moments

Cons:
- bugs
- dark screen
- too small letters to read
- the more you play, the more monotonic it becomes

If you like horror adventure games then it's worth trying but it's nothing special at all.

Pros:

- Finally, your decisions have bigger influence on the world, till the last minute of the game
- Beautiful landscapes
- Beautiful music
- Good plot (what happened to The Witcher after his "death")
- Dialogues with awesome sense of humor, close to the books
- Fighting system (something between BG and TES)
- Alchemy system
- Character development system (particular skills instead of +2 STR, +3 CHA)
- Geralt!

Cons:

- Too many loading screens
- Autosaves in weird places and sometimes inability to save the game in important moment, so you have to repeat a big (and hard) part
- Infinite monster respawn
- Dialogues are awesome but sometimes there's just too much talking
- Aard is op
- The hell hound boss fight

I've finished the game in 60 hours with every single quest (of course without hose unavailable for my path) done and I must say: those were 60 hours of awesomeness and epicness. The Witcher is a must-play RPG game!
